    ===== RECIPE =====
    = Filled wraps =

    - Gherkins/pickles
    - Cheese, grated
    - Creamy tuna
    - Sliced ham
    - Chutney
    - Tomato relish
    These are the things I used today, but there are so many different fillings you can use.

    Instead of cutting off the curves, fold them inwards, over the filling and then roll everything up tightly. This way, both ends are sealed and nothing falls out the bottom when you bite into the top. The filling only goes on the bottom third, the rest of the tortilla is wrapped around it, which is why it is called a "wrap". This way, the filling does not ooze out of the seam.

I am trying to turn to a healthier diet that's fun to make and decided to make chicken tender wraps for dinner tonight, as I'd gotten inspiration from a wonderful meal on vacation last week. How do you wash the veggies? When i washed the purple cabbage, it left a lot of colour! And it spoilers my salad as well

      If you're going to wash the cabbage/vegetables you will have to make sure it's properly dry. If there's any moisture it will leave colour. You could dry it with paper towel.

      @@EasyPeasyKitchen firstly thanks for the reply, i think i wasn't clear in explaining, sorry for that...
      After i washed the purple cabbage and dry it as you mentioned, after adding the salad marinade which contained vinegar and oil, that marinade made it leave colour. So the marinade was supposed to be thick, but the water which the purple cabbage released and the marinade made a yucky watery solution. :(

    Hi, great presentation. I'm just wondering, dont we need to close the sides at all? Do the filings stay inside this way?

      No need to close the sides. They're tightly wrapped and stay together ☺️

    Yummy. How can I make them ahead of time and store them?

    • @EasyPeasyKitchen
      @EasyPeasyKitchen  ปีที่แล้ว

      They should be fine made ahead of time and wrapped in a tea towel or plastic wrap for a few hours.

    Hi, Can i make this the day before and serve it next day??

    • @EasyPeasyKitchen
      @EasyPeasyKitchen  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It should be fine. You can make the rolls and place on a dry tea towel, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Cut them fresh the next day.

    I've never seen rectangle /square tortillas though (and cutting seems tedious). What term would one search them under?

    • @EasyPeasyKitchen
      @EasyPeasyKitchen  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We used to be able to buy these at our supermarket, but now it only seems to be the rice tortillas that come in a rectangle shape.
