Of all the classes, at this moment in time, I would place my RK in the S tier. :D I love the versatility of the class. I love yellow line, I can pull a group of mobs (landscape) and survive in spite of being a light class. Fire is fun, especially in groups where you can afford the little extra time for inductions. Also, I'm 100% ok with being asked to heal. I enjoy healing so much more than currently on my minstrel who was a main healer for years. I can play all three lines and enjoy all three lines. Brawler, for me, would be last. Just not into it because my mind goes to: if I want to dps, heal, buff, tank, etc. I'd much rather use my champ, rk, cappy, guard, bear as needed. In order would be RK, Champ, Captain, Hunter, LM, Minstrel, Burglar, Beorning, Warden, Guardian, Brawler. Looking forward to seeing the new class in your live stream tomorrow!
They used to be even more fun when you could switch in the middle of the raid....I loved playing back up healer I got so fast at changing my gear and settings from dps to healer I loved it. I loved jumping and reviving the mini and saving the tank, then going back and being the glass cannon. It just scratched the right itch in me. I still love my rks best, but miss the old days.
Goood vid, RK and Warden were my first two classes on the Moria release. Warden has gone through so many ups and downs, but glad it's still advanced and a challenge to play. RK zap zap forever, I miss my Darkmojo.
I always wanted to like burglar a bit more than I did. They have a handful of animations that feel odd to me, like they're not as impactful as other melee skills. It almost feels like they haven't even fired off when I hit them. Not all the animations, it has some cool ones, but a few of them.
it would be very helpful to the community if you did a video on the demand of each role and class for group content because there are a million hunters and champions lol
Warden/hunter move speed and ports are seriously just so strong that I have a hard time playing other classes... Over the life of a character unless you are valaring it its such an insane quality of life. 1-140 leveling it can cut down the time it takes to complete content by 40-60% no cap.

It's funny how you get so used to something that it puts a damper on everything else. In the video, he said the only reasonable option for Hunter was in Red line but I absolutely LOVE blue line and blue line only. Red line makes me feel like I'm stuck in mud because blue has no movement penalties - it's run, run, run, pew, pew, pew. SO fast and fun! But I know for a fact that if I'd been playing red line for the last 15 years I'd defend it. I'm just glad there are so many options so that we're all able to find something to make us happy. Long live LOTRO!
Remember when Blue line Hunters were the best line to run in...I had a lot of fun but..just like always...the old "if it's not red line it's not a hunter" crowd cried so much they changed it.
I played almost every class and had fun leveling them up with almost all of them, but the most fun was the Guardian and Warden. I'm currently trying the Mariner, it has potential. That's it for solo leveling, in raid, I haven't done enough to judge it correctly.

After spending 5min googling the english translations for half of the classes bc i had no clue which is which, here's my vague tier list. But my only 140 characters are hunters and i don't have a lot of experiences with some classes yet, also i hate fighting in near range so i'm definetly more drawn to big range classes like the hunter (best class btw, 10/10, only class i think is perfect): Most fun: hunter, minstrel, loremaster Good: captain, burglar, warden Okay: guardian Meh: champion, rune-keeper Not so fun: beorning, brawler So i love runes but the skills could be cooler and is just don't like the gameplay that much + i'm really weak xd Champion was fun at the beginning but now at 87 it's so boring idk I don't enjoy fighting as a bear and the human form skills are sooo boring... Even tho loremaster is really weak, the skills 100% make up for it. Love magic so much and i LOVE the variety of skills, RK has almost only fire rune stuff and the skills are not as spectacular and cool as on LM

It's all part of going through all the classes and making their lines viable. It's definitely a chance that guardian dps will be lowered once people get to play it and we see fully where it's at.@@juanzulu1318

The guardian was never designed to be a top dd class. Just like the minstrel was designed as the top healing class and should never be a top dd class. If the Guardian is currently the top dd class then this would be a serious over sight from the designer team and hard to follow.

i have no idea what you mean by yellow line or red line.....I played this game at launch and have no idea what you mean by those colored lines......wish it was explained as I am interested in playing again.
Line means specialisation. For example and keeping it simple, captain red line is a dps spec, while yellow line is a tank spec. At lvl2 you choose one of the line (you can switch between theme if you dont like you initial choice.
Champ is currently fun almost only in concept. After the Weapon Swap removal from the game it feels way too simple of a playstyle. Really needs a rework.
Also agree. Champion is a master of melee combat and that knowledge should be represented by fighting-stances which he constantly switches during fight. The red stance is great for high burst damage in singletarget AND AoE, but this ruthless fighting style will make you tiring real quick and you will be very vulnerable to counterattacks, so you cant fight very long in this stance. The yellow stance is more balanced with more sustained damage (bleed), a bit controlling and debuffs for the enemies, making them ready for the next red burst window. But both red and yellow will drain your moral and power real quick, so you also need the blue defense stance, which grands protecting, buffs and regeneration for a catch of breath, making you ready to go offensive again.
How many reworks to these class lines before ssg gets it right? I hear about a patch with a rework like every few months now for the last like 9 years.
I tried the new class mariner and I have to say straight off the bat..I do not like it, sorry I know I'm probably offending a lot of people by saying that..but to me just like when I first started playing the game all those years ago..I tried every class I could back then and Cappy and Hunter just clicked with me right off the bat in the starting zone.
There's nothing wrong with not liking a class., you're not offending the people who like the class. Some people will just take to some classes, it's always been the case with all the classes.

my brawler is a lot of fun. it is a learning curve. red line in pve you getting nettle . nettle stuff just dies and you can go afk. pvp learning curve. yet i have it figured out. i love red line in the moors . we need more survivability. joy of battle heal needs less cooldown and to be comparable to a reaver. we need more survivability with a 4 meter range. my top 3 brawler, lm, bear ok 4 hunter. those are my 4 mains .in that order. when our npcs were bugged on me in the moors. my nettle killed it. nettle does not work as much as latent light . i havent quite figured out latent light.if you know how to blue lm . the dps surpasses red. minstrel heals seem to suck . are you paid to say that about the mariner?
I agree about Brawler - it IS a lot of fun. It was very odd for me to enjoy it so much because my 15 year old main is a ranged Hunter but I took to Brawler day one and ran it up to level 140 faster than any other toon in my history. There is just something special about chucking a beer stein at someone (especially when it's a kill shot - LOL) and jumping in the air to slam your fist down like Thor. Good stuff!
The warden sucks again. Only he was upgraded and seemed to be given the opportunity to tank, the guard was upgraded after him and everything returned to normal. A warden is again not needed in this game. If tanking is necessary, then take a guard. If you need damage, then take a warrior or hunter. Yes, the red line has been significantly upgraded, but warrior or hunter have more stable damage.

I don't agree with all of your picks. But i do agree that none of the classes are D tier or lower. All of the classes are at least pretty fun.

Of course I'm not paid to say anything, putting mariner at the top was a little joke, because we haven't seen the class yet.
