- It's finally back! Avengers as Dragons is the video that launched my whole series of turning various superheroes and other pop culture characters and creatures into dragons. Here were the first three Avengers focussed episodes I'd done:

In this episode, I took 4 more popular Marvel heroes to turn into dragons. Of course, since we're getting Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness I had to finally turn Doctor Strange into a very Mystical Dragon who is actually from my Dungeons and Dragons universe for reasons I explain in the video. Then, I turn Ant man into the Pymulous Ant Dragon I teased almost a year ago. Third, we have the Hawk Shot Needle Drake; Hawkeye as a dragon inspired by the Tobi-Kadach from Monster Hunter. Finally, even though he isn't exactly an Avenger I transformed Moon Knight in honor of his Disney+ series coming at the end of the month.
I think this is a very fitting revival of my classic dragon series and I hope you all enjoy: What if The AVENGERS Were DRAGONS?! P3 (Lore & Speedpaint)

It is ironic that another character played by Benedict Cumberbatch becomes a dragon, since he already gave voice and motion capture to Smaug from the Hobbit
Yo Christian, I'm currently DMing a campain the takes heavy inspiration from your D&D and Beast Chronicler videos, so the fact that they both now (kind of) interacted, it was so cool.
Hippity, Hoppity, I'm stealing that campaign Idea.
Srsly though, I hope the campaign goes well!

I suggest you keep them in the D&D world and then somehow give them a way to bring them to the Beast Cronicler world, I also suggest putting your campaign at the beginning of Pop’s time line (ie before Kalya meets Tayrn)

These are by far some of the best dragon designs you’ve made yet! The Moon knight dragon has to be my favorite with its gaunt look. Also seeing as you’ve been branching into new franchises lately I was wondering if you could do something with Dead by daylight?

YES! i remember watching the first Avengers as dragons and it made my day! seeing this series come back makes me so happy and this episode is really worth the hype! this guys videos, no matter what they are, always seem to lift my spirits! Ps- you should do more stuff with the Suicide Squad, maybe horror movie characters or mortal combat characters!

For your next video, you should do a part 5 to your Phobias as Demons series! Here’s a list of phobias you could use.
- Alektorophobia; which is the fear of chickens or hens.
- Panophobia; which is the fear of everything.
- Pogonophobia; which is the fear of Beards.
- Decidophobia; which is the fear of Making Decisions.
- Ergophobia; which is the fear of work.
- Amathophobia; which is a fear of dust.
I think they would look awesome!

I'd like for him to use Hanna Barbara heroes like The Galaxy Trio, Herculoids, Birdman, Thundarr & co., the Super Harlem Globetrotters or even Fat Albert's junkyard gang. After the Bill Cosby scandal, it's probably the only way their fans are going to see them in anything...

Me, I would not mind if Christian just did a dragon video that included independent comic characters like Invicible.
I'd also like to see more one punch man dragons. Like a Genos dragon, a Garou dragon, and maybe like a Boros Dragon. He did a saitama Dragon so I think this would be cool

I have honestly just been watching Ben 10 for the past week and it reminded me why I like the series. I think Chromastone fused with Upgrade would be cool. It’s basically making the living tech that improves other tech be able to use any power source. I even remember the old Ben 10 toy ships I used to play with. They had the cool concept of turning into stuff.

Other Marvel characters I think would be awesome as dragons:
1) Black Widow (she could be a spidery dragon like the Dracharachnia, but obviously with a different look)
2) Daredevil (He already has horns, and that billy club makes a good whippy tail)
3) Ghost Rider (Just look at his beautiful flaming skull head!)
4) Ms. Marvel (She could be a sweet stretchy dragon)

How about Nick Fury as a wingless dragon that relies on ambush tactics to hunt and makes alliances with the previous kinds of dragons when an invasive species turns up?

I think we can safely say this was a blast from the past, because these all look fantastic! Ant-man's insect traits are simply inspired, Moon Knight was an unorthodox but very welcome addition, and Dr. Strange looks so foreboding and magnificent it's a little hard to accept that he's only a dragon and not some kind of higher entity. What with all the call-backs to previous episodes and the lore you wove in, this was flat out FUN to watch.
i love the moon knight dragon for more than one reason, for one, i like the reference to him having identity disorders from his erratic behavior, i also like his head shape, as that is roughly the shape Khonshu has in the graphic novels.
Overrall, everything looks great, and i think your themes fit these characters well.
I am kinda proud of this idea. Everyone knows about the concept of fusing Ben 10 aliens. I know how it can be applied to the mech suits. Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 Fused. The show had tech for fusing their alien cars together and Benny would be happy to get his hands on such a thing for mech suits. Since the Ben 10 reboot has his aliens getting mech suits, it would be a good idea to just fuse the suits with other aliens. If Ben has a Bio-mech Skurd then being able to use the fuse tech would be a snap. Benny could probably get rich with the fuse tech by showing it to a lot of old clients. A video of mech fusions!

Edit 2: I don’t know if this is a good idea, but I would be interested to see some of your dragons/creatures is a video focused on their biology.
I'm considering both those, another Horror Knight ep and Dr Strange dragon as the Overseer of the DnD world but we'll see

@@PopCross If you haven’t already decided about the next Horror Knight video I have some ideas, my favorite bosses are Grimm and the Mantis Lords, if those got a horror rework me and probably many others would be over the moon! Btw you perfectly captured how you can randomly fall into Deepnest with no warning and the feelings you get when finding Nosk for the first time. And about my other suggestion, of getting a video about the biology of some of these creatures, you don’t have to take it but I can tell you that it would be interesting to see how your creations could interact with the real world beyond just abilities etc.
The Dr Strange dragon as an Overseer idea is good - maybe the previous human(oid?) one couldn't find anyone they trusted to be their successor and this species of dragon is sapient/intelligent enough to be as good as, so the old Overseer trained it to take over from them.
I could see a wingless trait as the basal trait and the Hawkeye dragon being a basal creature if it was a real animal, I could see many of your dragons being real animals, I love your art style and how you build your worlds and stories. Amazing job.

Finn from Adventure Time. Great fighter, robot arm and a whole bunch of swords.
Luz from the Owl House. She came up with new way to use magic with glyphs.
Ann from Amphibia. Athelic, trained fighter and her blue energy from the Calamity Box that gives her flight and super strength.
Steven universe. Half alien hero who brough peace to the universe.
Molly & Scratch from the Ghost and Molly McGee. Shes bonded to a spirit, so many possibilities.
Jimmy Neutron. Boy Genius whose can invent anything.
Hilda from Netflix(great show). Picture this, she can transform into a superstrong troll.
The art work is spectacular I hope to see some other Moon Knight inspired stuff the dragon looks so cool
I love the dragon episodes, its why I started requesting sesame street characters as dragons, but switched over to sesame street characters as beasts. So do it. Also this episode was really cool!

Request log Upload 67: A Terraria or Madness Combat-focused episode. Terraria as DnD monsters or dragons, MC characters as various anime, Transformers, or anything else you can think of. They could both easily be made into amazing art pieces no matter what you decide to mix them with.

Week 3 of asking for Warframe's as dragons. I think the frame Equinox Prime as both a male and female frame would make for a very interesting Dragon.

This was an amazing episode dude the Doctor Strange and Moon Knight Dragons are my favorite of the episode. Also I have an idea when you bring back your horror icons as dragons episode since you never touched that series in a very long time (I’m not mad, I just want a second episode to that series).
Spencis Charnas Origin
After studying the Honey-Hook Wyvern, I end up seeing a couple of knights from the Las Angels Guard working on a quest about the death of a women who has connections to a specific person they were looking for which has a connection to these dragons I was studying. So I was lead to this carnival of carnage we’ll call it which had some of the dragons I talked about already like the Fanged Jester, the Scorched Nightmare, The October Slow Stalker, and the 4 other dragons that I mentioned already. It made me remember the times I went to the kingdom where Willis Aften used his so called dragons as attractions which is now a different kingdom entirely at this point and the kingdom has been destroyed by the time I’m telling you about him.
But I also saw and interview the owner of this place and his name was Spencis Charnas. He was wearing a suit that resembled half of a Scorched Nightmare and a Crystal Lake Camp Stalker with half of his face (well 25% of his face) covered with the fake skull of one of these dragons. But he also was holding a cane with a skull on top of the handle and wore (just for show) a bladed glove which represented the right hand of a scorched nightmare. He told me that he was really fascinated about these dragons sense he was little when he encountered the same exact October Slow Stalker that I studied that was caged here, which he said inspired someone to kill his sister, her friends, and even his parents which he ended up killing him in self defense but also he was a kid at the time and I don’t know if a kid could kill a full grown adult. Then he told me other things about him like he is the leader of a traveling folk story group that tells tales of these dragons.
But when he said that I did see when studying the Crystal Lake Camp Stalker that there were these lines of their little tale in the area which said…
"He Drowned in all our sins
He drowned in our mistakes
Fueled by the flood, we pay in blood
The curse of Crystal Lake"
And then I forgot about when I studied the Honey-Hook Wyvern I saw these lines which read….
"Left to die under the sun
The hive never spared anyone
How 'bout the hand for the honey bees
Hooked on the creed of their colony"
The most messed up part about the writing is that they were written in the blood of the dead bodies that were at the area where they were written.
Also Spencis told me about this place’s history and the dragons that he really wants in here and he even gave me the privilege to study them after hours when the place closes since he knew I was the Overseer of this world and knew how much I liked studying mythical beast, he would even asked me to create more of these types of dragons if I wanted too.
Then I asked him the big question that I think he knew I was gonna ask which was….
Why is the Las Angels Guard after you?
He told me more about his past where he was connected with the case of the death of Elias Black who was the alchemist who would help Spencis with his nightmares while he was traveling with his group which he told me that the fanged jester that was caged here, which I remembered that I studied that exact same fanged jester tortured Elias and killed him and now he is connected to the death of the women that I heard about which turned out is his Fiancé and the Las Angels leader Captain Harris isn’t stopping until he is behind bars. But Spencis told me that he knows who really killed her and he won’t stop until the real killer pays for what he has done.
But then I shook his hand and then left after talking to him and he even asked me if I was coming to opening night of the carnival and I told him yes and he told me these four words that I won’t forget "Sometimes…. Dead is Better." Which ended up gave me a shiver that went down my spine for some reason.
Then the big night came and Spencis Sang one of his songs with his group which was the Anthem to this place.
Then Spencis say these three words that would end up sticking with me every time I go to this place no matter if this place is opened or not which were…
Welcome to Horrorwood!!!
For context the character Spencis is based off of the frontman of the metal band Ice Nine Kills named Spencer Charnas (from the music videos, not in real life). Who has made two whole albums about horror movies with his band. Also him and his bands music is great and I highly recommend you listen to them.
The Honey-Hook Wyvern is based off of Candyman while the Crystal Lake Camp Stalker is based off of Jason Voorhees.

While watching, idea, that i already had poped in my head again. It would just make even more sense now. I am thinking of video, where Tayrun would tell Vasilia about this universe and she would make armors/clothing from classical or even your homebrewed D&D monsters. I think it would be really really good. And after you talking about that Dr. Strange dragon and everything about him, it makes more sense, than i could have expected. It could even be another of those "Banter Episodes" you started to do.
By the way, this was really fun episode for me. In most cases, i have to eat or do something while watching your videos for me to watch the whole video, but this one was so good both in the story/description and in those great drawings, that i just sat and watched it happily. Very well done.

These are soooo cool, I happened on your channel just after watching Moon Knight today and thinking how I was going to develop my own comic ideas with a strong Gods/Dragon theme, but was tired of not being able to think of better design ideas, so between you and Warcraft (excited for the new DragonFlight) and previous dragon influences I'm buzzing for getting my ideas out of my head and onto paper/screen.

Wow Christian! I wasn’t really keeping up to date with the channel lately but I saw this in my recommended and clicked on it. Some fantastic dragon designs, usually at least one drawing isn’t as good as the others, but these dragons were all amazing. The Dr Strange dragon is one of my favourite dragons designs you’ve ever done.
The art you make is amazing along with the storys you make for them and your videos really helped me understand how to make better art
For the Hawk-tail Tobi inspiration, it came more specifically from the Viper Tobi. They have poisonous quills on their hide which they can dislodge from said hide to attack prey and predators. Their fangs ooze a paralytic which allows them to dispatch prey quickly and escape from predators more easily.
The Doctor Strange Dragon was by far the most amazing one! That design would be awesome on a T-shirt Popcross! Another phenomenal video!

Also that could lead to another fun moment for a Visilia’s episode if a mysterious man gives her the hide of the Morbius Vampire dragon and she would say “Are you a vampire cause legally you have to tell me if you’re a vampire. I love these designs wholeheartedly, you seriously outdid yourself with this batch (the Dr Strange dragon is definitely my favorite design-wise.) But now I have 2 ideas for future episodes because of your mentions of the Armor maker.
One idea was some of YOUR favorite dragons that you've drawn as armors.
The second idea was a team or seperate individuals who are powerful dragon slayers who specialize in hunting down and killing dragons (and they can either be just strong adventurers or possible antagonists for Tayrin to stop)
