As a PA of 5 years my best advice on choosing an area to practice, choose what you like not what seems like a good idea. I hear all of the time if I choose ENT I’ll loose all of my other medicine, same with Derm. If you love it go for it. Don’t waste your career feeling like you have to do IM, ER or UC just to keep the medicine. You can be happy from the start. Edit: also so much of your career depends on the people and patient population you work with, not just the specialty. So pay attention, do you like seeing repeat patients on a regular basis? Do you want to see someone once and not get attached? Do you want to help women/men during a harder moment (ER, PP, NICU, etc), there are a lot of options if you hate blood but love the mind consider psych! Whatever you like use that towards your future goal career.
I am going through rotations right now, had my elective in derm last month and loved it! But I'm nervous - I've heard it's so difficult to go straight into derm as a new grad... Do you just apply to a ton of clinics straight out of school or do you have to rely more on networking?
Salutations. I'm from Tamizh Naadu, India. I'm in my pa program ....i like work in USA. Should I enroll my self in arc pa accredited program and have to pass pance to work there ?.. Is this For both federal and private sectors pa jobs ?

Totally agreed! A lot of new grads feel the pressure
@@AndrianaCellini I sure did, I’m glad I went straight for what I enjoyed. Going to work when it doesn’t feel like work is THE GOAL!
This is amazing advice
Saved for a watch later! Going to be first year PA student in January so I’ll come back to this again once I finish my PA program 😄
You should have chosen IR! No bias… 😏
😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😊
😂
I would love to learn more about the role of a PA in IR. Maybe you could do a video about it.
I'm tied up between Orthopedic Surgery and IR. I shadowed PA's in both specialties and loved it!!!
Both are super pa friendly!!
Good advice!! I think your heart leads you to where you’ll be the happiest and do the most good 😊.
Agreed!
Would be nice if PA schools offered more elective rotations, I would prefer 2-3 electives!
I would love to see a video on how you organise your schedule please. Love your videos xx
The ending cracked me up, lol so cute! Great advice 😀❤
i freaking love you!!! so happy you made a channel! yay!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Could you make a video focused on getting into PA school? Love your channel, you’re so inspiring!! Thx😊
Super helpful video! Can you do a video on the difficulties that come with being a new grad PA? Thank you! Love your channel :)
You sounds like me! I am all about hands on learning and I love hands one ☝🏻. I am also thinking about dermatology and surgery .
Such good advice! Hoping I can figure out what I want to do soon
Awesome advice! Can you talk more about your schedule looked like in the different PA jobs that you have had :)
I think u gave excellent tips!

A mixture of both! It’s always great to create connections through your rotations
My elective for dermatology got cut due to covid :/ so now as a new grad I’m unsure if I want to go straight into a specialty or not.
Hello
Can you please do a video on the schools that accept international students who have completed PA school and wanna continue
Thanks
What is the best way to get rid of a white head that you may have had for awhile? Thanks!
Would recommend to see your derm to have it extracted if possible!
Salutations.
