You should pay more attention to the drummer, Akane--she is one of the best in the world. Syncopation, polyrhythms, fills, and that incredible pace. Great reaction, love to see someone appreciate my favorite band.
The reason for the impromptu on stage playful interaction between bass player Misa and lead singer Saiki seems to stem from the fact that for the first half of this performance of Real Existence Saiki is singing bare foot. This came about because during the previous song (Freedom) Saiki went into a female only section of the audience and was temporarily 'kidnapped' and in the process lost her high heels. Miku ended up finishing the vocals for that song. Saiki went up to Misa because Misa was also barefoot as traditionally Misa plays bass guitar barefoot during live performances. If you watch carefully, after the instrumental section Saiki is once again wearing her heels.
This performance is so cool that beginning kanami windmilling saiki screaming misa misa just being the queen of cool akane’s awesome smile and mikus Little head nod after kanamis solo that basically says ya we just kicked your ass and you liked it. So many things going on and you can see there just loving it. That’s how it’s supposed to be done a lot of so called rock and metal bands should be taking notes from these talented ladies.

Now (as we see with the live version of DOMINATION ) she stands in front of the band as their gate keeper , demanding that you like them and refusing entry to those that don't. You have no choice but to join in with the crowd responses in case doubt is cast over your allegiance. You answer to her.! Sue Metal might be the queen of metal, but SAIKI is the dominatrix of hard rock!

that's their entire concert, just a lot of on stage fun. Everyone in the band is smiling. They give 110% if not more at every concert. Band-Maid doesn't want to disappoint the Master & Princesses in the crowd :) They barely break a sweat after a 2 hour concert

I have two mindsets for Band-Maid. One, I want them to be HUGE so they come to the US more often. Two, I want them to stay where they are some I can see them up close in a smaller venue. I saw Garbage in San Jose, Ca. at an arena years ago and then saw them at The Masonic in SF and liked that show much better because I got to be a lot closer.

I want to clarify 1 thing. The majority of Band Maid songs are better to react to live versions, but there are some where a good live version is hard to find on TH-cam. Dice, Blooming, Rinne, non-fiction days, Don't let me down, and Bubble are a few examples where you should watch the official music video instead. I've seen some reaction channels try to hunt for live versions of these songs, and they end up reacting to sub par recordings. Band Maid is always good, but good audio is very important to get the best experience.

@@weilima9316 I disagree in that the song is so much cleaner on the mv. The live versions for the most part are muffled, especially the stuff from the latest concert. As far as the lyrics go, they do not add anything for me personally. Lyrics get interpreted in so many ways they have no true meaning unless the artist explains them I and not sure but I think the official video does not have lyrics on it someone decided to put it on themselves because they think it is more important that they're channel gets views than Band Maids channel.

I don't know if we will ever see a small venue again, so I will always cherish the concert I saw in Dallas. There are just so many new fans.
