I don't know what they're putting in the water in Japan, but all the ladies in all the J-rock and J-metal bands are super talented, and super beautiful.
Anthony, now you need to hear East of Eden's song Evolve next.

Very nice reaction, i liked all the "nerd stuff" too. Absolutely love this band, very fun and energetic music, the music always keeps you interested. Anyways, if you keep reacting to them i also recommend going for "Evolve (extended version)" or "CrossRoads" MV's. Keep up the good work, dude. 🙃

GR8 reaction bro!!!! I Love East of Eden!!!! Next from East of Eden check out Evolve (Extended version) and their latest Cross Roads. Just subbed to your channel. Had been subbed when you were still doing reactions with Suite Clarity and glad to have found you again!

Definitely check out "Evolve (extended version)" next... my song of 2023, by a country mile. Wakezaemon on bass steals it all for me though - she's off the charts amazing 🤘🎸

There's a Japanese band called Unlucky Morpheus that has two songs called "CADAVER" and "REVADAC" (cadaver spelled backwards). They both share a single music video and there's something GENIUS about the composition that connects the two together (something that no other band ever did, as far as I know it). It would be a great pleasure to see you react to this music video and analyze what the band did with these songs. Here's the official MV: th-cam.com/video/_yrNRhIreyE/w-d-xo.html
I hope I can pick your curiosity, because this is so worth to check out, it blows minds. Also, Unlucky Morpheus has a violinist too and she is insane!

Missed your first reaction to them, just watched it now. So I'll post this here, and sorry for any duplication of info from other comments.
This is a new supergroup, and an emphatic statement on the depth of talent in the Japanese metal scene. Most of the members have roles with other bands, so it’s not clear this is more than a project, but we’ll see. What we’ve seen so far is spectacular.
The hook? This is a metal band built around a violinist. (The closest thing I know of is Unlucky Morpheus, where Jill often takes a lead role). Ayasa plays a custom five-string electric violin, which I’d say is very metal. She is also the founder of the band.
    Personnel:
    Violin: Ayasa (currently with Morphonica)
Guitar: Yuki (founder and co-lead in D-Drive)
Bass: Wakazaemon (bassist with Marty Friedman and other projects)
    Drums: Mizuki (Lonesome Blue)
Vocals: Akane Minato (x Predia, several other groups)
Akane has a powerful, forward vocal timbre which is somewhat reminiscent of Fuki (Unlucky Morpheus)-interesting parallel since UM are also the big-name band that features a violin.
They have posted several songs in very different styles so far, all showing off great songwriting, jedi-level mastery of their instruments, and Akane’s powerful vocals. They have also issued their first EP. Definitely a band to watch!

    Chasing the Moon th-cam.com/video/utAlJDL2GMc/w-d-xo.html
You should also check out the various members in their other projects, especially D-Drive, which is an amazing instrumental outfit that takes guitar harmonies to a rarified level.

The credits on this one are a little interesting "Lyrics : nana hatori / Music : East Of Eden + Mao / Arrangement : East Of Eden + Mao." Mao is the former keyboardist of Lightbringer (a Japanese Power Metal band that has been on indefinite hiatus since 2014) and he is a regular contributor to Lovebites (he has partial or full writing credits on about 44% of Lovebites songs, however, there are certain fans that complain about the partial writing credits), as well as Lonesome_Blue and other bands.
I'm going to recommend something by Lonesome_Blue (because Lonesome_Blue and East of Eden share the drummer) even though they are currently without a guitarist (is it just me or do some former Destrose members have problems staying in bands*) Lonesome_Blue「Face The Fear」th-cam.com/video/57My6iSPBl4/w-d-xo.html
    * Destrose was a Japanese all female metal band that never saw commercial success and had 19 members in an 8 year span, and is best known for the subsequent bands later formed by its many members (about a dozen bands including Lovebites, Mary's Blood, Nemophila, Lonesome_Blue).

There once was a man in 🇵🇪
Who dreamed he was eating his 👟
    He woke with a 😱
in the middle of the 🌚
and found that his dream had come true
That aside this was probably one of my favorite songs you've analyzed so far. Like you said it was just really cool part writing and musicianship (I might also be slightly biased when I see violin haha)

Very good reaction Anthony, there was a fantastic British Prog Rock band also by the name of East of Eden back in the 70's. Their line-up included Dave Arbus, Ron Caines, Geoff Nicholson, Steve York, and Dave Dufont Their sound was a mixture of jazz-fusion with many oriental influences always of course on a heavy rock basis., I saw them in London 1972, this is their one hit wonder that had everyone up on their feet dancing and worth a listen. th-cam.com/video/178LOntoB4A/w-d-xo.html

The Japanese music scene is increcible, especially the metal/rock genres. Phenomenal musicianship. The all-female bands are on another level. Lovebites, Band-Maid, Nemophila, Hanabie, EOE, STMLT, Nek! and some others are better than a majority (If not all) of anything coming out of the West. When you have a violinist (Ayasa) who can shred it's all good. These bands are are all highly supportive of each other. They do side projects, attend each others concerts, hang out, etc.

With "west" you mean USA ? Not that i want to talk bad about the japanese bands (especially Lovebites is my absoulte favorite), but in europe there are also a lot of fantastic bands especially in the symphonic metal genre, and mostly it are americans who never looked outside their country, who never have heared of them. To list just a few :
Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Edenbridge, Ad Infinitum, Beyond The Black, Xandria, Visions of Atlantis, Amaranthe, Ancient Bards, Delain ...

Great stuff as always. Here's my entry for the beanie: Hagane - Hero Time: th-cam.com/video/-uIGtQNesx0/w-d-xo.html it's the studio version mostly on top of a live video performance, but it's still epic AF. Their new album with Nagi and Junna is a masterpiece.
