That place is breathtaking🌸
The only negative for a 55+ community is the lack of age-in-place features. The elevator is nice and I suspect that one should have an elevator maintenance contract. Unfortunately, the shower in the primary bathroom as lovely as it is, would be a disaster for when one becomes older. Same with the toilet area, little space for a walker or wheelchair access. Yes, one can make it an age in place and accessible and to where it looks like a home and not a nursing home. This is where 55+ developers ALWAYS fail in a spectacular fashion. The downstairs in law suite would be perfect for live in or part time in home care worker. The front steps as well, not good for accessibility. One wants to live as long as they possibly can in their home and not have to leave due to accessibility issue and wind up in one of those horrid "for profit old people's ware house". What a horrible way for one to live out their days.
Very nice property indeed. Very professional presentation. Wow Vegas pricing really catching up, even from NorCal perspective
I'm a little late viewing this video...Excellent 5 star presentation, and also to the camera man he did his 5 star thing too. God bless you both
Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching!🙏🏼🙌🏼
Another terrific video. Great looking property. It's a 55+ community. Why is the kitchen on the second floor? Seems visually tone deaf. The elevator is a nice touch, though.
The property is set up so that you live primarily on the 2nd floor, and downstairs is the mother in law /guest suite. Thanks for watching and the kind words 🫶🏻
General comment re home design.. this unit is for 'mature people' (its in a 55+ community).
-Why are there steps leading up to the front door? Why don't these homebuilders design for mobility-impaired people, and use a graded ramp, rather than steps?
- The presentation indicates the unit is designed for "lock and leave", but why is there a big window by the front door, which could easily be broken into? -- Homes these days are all designed to be easily accessed by "bad guys", they lack any concept of physical security. Why is that? -- Again, especially relevant as this is a 55+ community.
- Regarding the elevator, is the unitholder responsible to maintain/repair, or will the community take care of this? Elevators are notoriously expensive to maintain..
Hi, thanks for watching. This community, while 55+, has a more modern vibe than some of the other 55+ communities, and the demographic in here tends to be on the younger end of the spectrum. The rear loaded garage is level for mobility impaired people. Also, this community is guard gated, and also located in very safe area. Most buyers want natural light and windows, and the particular window you’re referring to is a bedroom- to build a bedroom without one would be odd. Elevator is owners responsibility to maintain. This is just one of the floor plans In This community, there are others as well.
My guess is it’s very expensive ..how about something affordable
This is ridiculous. 55+ with stairs???? Elevator aside - it makes no sense. What happens when the elevator breaks down?
Thanks for watching. They’re different style, they appeal to the younger end of the spectrum for 55+ so a lot of people like it. There’s a bedroom on the first floor that you could make a multigen suite so in case the elevator broke down you’d have that option. It’s definitely not your typical age restricted community.
How much?
This one sold for $795,000
How old is it?
2020 built
Kind of odd for a house with an elevator.
