What a day today has been! Joyful Cook! Joyful Meal! The great Joyful Cook has prepared us this ‘out of this world’ dish: “Local palm oil & ugba sauce” with ‘lots of onions, cow skin, scotch bonnet pepper, Ugba, scent leaf, ‘big and small crayfish’, and palm oil! To go with boiled yam! We are rich! We are blessed! ‘Eating good in the Pan-African world’, here in northern New Jersey! Gorgeous weather at 5:15pm in the New York City area, sunny, 63 degrees, 7 miles per hour wind, and 47% humidity! Thank you!

I'm not igbo but I'm married to Owerri man, I can say it anyday that this is a really beautiful dish,my first time visiting nekede this was the only meal i could eat because I'm a Yoruba woman and I can't imagine eating meals without pepper, this was the only meal that had the kind of heat i could manage to eat,no pepper in any other meal, but immediately i was served this ,it was love at first bite 😁😁
