Oh Lolo, this came up via the search engine when I searched for how to make ugba/abacha with ngu. I learnt today to use ogiri,so I will try it. Aww! See how your son is helping to explain the process. I love how they are in the kitchen with you, As a mum who also raised sons only,it helps them a lot if they know how to cook and don't have the mentality that the kitchen is only for women. I totally enjoyed watching it,let me go and make mine now with the correct ogiri that I came back with when we last visited
This ukpaka is highly medicinal, some people used potash in place of ngo. The ehuru and ogiri will it a great taste. It came out yummy 😋 and appetizing
Ah I go learn how to cook igbo food by fox, but we don't do it like this in my place, this is so classic and high quality, no wonder my husband always talks about ugba, wow it looks so yummy brava 👏👍
Nice one!! Personally after sieving the ngu the first time, i only leave it to settle first before gently pouring out what i need d/by leaving behind that which seems like sand.
Igbo nwere nri makachi😋😋 Is good to heat up the ugba before using cos you dont know the environment where they produced it. I like adding onion 😃 finally I don't like to use blended crayfish when making ugba, nkwobi or abacha maka aja crayfish i will selec it carefully, wash and pound together with fresh pepper. Thanks for sharing ❤
That's a lot of sand 16:34 is it a type of fish? The Ugba? Absolutely delicious 😋 Africa is blessed with a lot of healthy recipes 😋 woow. If I try it, I will add the onions to mine because I love fresh onions in my foods..it really looks delicious and easy to prepare 😋 you made me crave for yam 😋
