Hey guys! I uploaded a PS5 usage of the Bravia Theater U earlier today! Here: Sony Bravia Theater U | PS5 Usage th-cam.com/video/smxCQ5MfezQ/w-d-xo.html
@@edmfuturedisco3485 I think so. The comments on my video after this one said to get 3.5 mm Jack with a mic and adjust the mic level. Look in the comment there for more detail. The person I talked to there was able to do it. I use it for single player games on ps5 and Xbox series x
@@khaleelj.marshall-walker5409hi there. I have been away but been waiting for an answer. Thanks for letting me know! Just a few questions before I decide to fork the money out; would I have to configure it in my Xbox settings? Will I get the spatial sound that it produces?
For the first question I’m not sure. It should since it supports Dolby Atmos. You would connect it to the Sony headphones connect app for better control. For the second question, yes it is a successor to the SRS-NS7 neckband speaker!
Make sure your LG OLED supports A2DP Bluetooth profile to connect to it via Bluetooth. If your tv doesn’t support that profile, you can use optical audio, but you would need to get the WLA-NS7 Wireless TV Adapter
@@deeceltic18881 Awesome! And yes I have! I’ve been playing Spider-Man 2 and Final Fantasy XVI and it’s great! When you get these, plug the included audio cable into the PS5 controller and increase the headphone volume on the ps5 (settings>sound>volume) and you should be good to go! Use the volume buttons on the Theater U to control the volume from now on!
I'm pretty excited for this but I haven't bought it yet because I haven't heard much about it. I'm mostly curious how it sounds in comparison to a headphone such as the sony M5 and if it would be worth getting to pair with my TV
Me too! I have the XM5s myself and I’ve been enjoying my experience with the theater u so far with the Spider-Man 2 game, John Wick: Chapter 4 and using it for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage on my Xbox. I can see this be a fun, yet underrated Sony product! Feel free to ask anymore questions!
@@khaleelj.marshall-walker5409do you have a Bravia TV that supports the spatial sound personalizer? I kind of curious about the 360 sound and Dolby Atmos support
Are you able to listen to this at a decent volume without someone in a different room hearing the sound? Want to get these for late night tv watching without waking the wife 😂
Yup! You’ll be able to hear the music, audio, and dialogue! If you have a recent Sony TV, it will be a more seamless experience connecting it. If you don’t, you’ll have to buy a Sony transmitter. Be sure to look it up before make a purchase on this🙂
@@l89strike75 I bought it directly from Sony. It mailed to me. I had no problems when it came to how it was shipped. You can also buy from Amazon, Best Buy, etc. Hope this answers your questions!
@@khaleelj.marshall-walker5409 Thanks. Did you like it's sound? How's the bass on this if I may ask? I was researching about it, i guess you need a separate transmitter if you want 360 sound mapping.
