To understand black hole u need to understand Schwarzschild radius given by the formula 2GM/c²
It says that an object of a definite mass can be compressed to a level where the density will increase so much,the escape velocity from such a sphere(sphere is used because it has uniform density) will be equal to speed of light.If u compress it even more,the escape velocity will increase further that even light cant escape it,hence it is a black hole.The centre of black hole is hypothetical point called singularity where all the physics laws make no sense at all,some people believe it is a portal for time travel or a portal to another dimension.
Just give u an example:if earth is compressed to a radius of 6400km to 8mm it will behave as a blackhole.

Anyway it's not KE of particle, the equation described ithe video is utterly wrong because if u ask the KE of massless particle(m=0) such as photon and neutrino it will give 0/0 even though they have finite kinetic energy. He has doctorate in physics so providing misleading videos are not appreciated.
