As a Blade main, although during his first release and rerun, S1 is definitely the way to go, but currently with Patch 2.6 there is a new f2p Light Cone that is very good for him, almost as good as his signature. So if it's about current value, his E1 would step ahead. For Luocha, his sig is good for him but there are honestly enough good 4* abundance cones like Quid pro Quo that can help support the team where the 20% atk buff on his ultimate would be much appreciated. It makes him like HuoHuo Topaz and Ruan Mei are very competitive. Either S1 or E1 can be better in certain circumstances. Jingliu E1S0 will actually do more damage than E0S1 in single target scenarios. But the opposite is true for more than one target
@@unendingvoid for Blade I actually agree. If I would get him I would give him the new event LC. But for Luocha, even tho he has more options, I think the extra base stats + energy + SPD that his LC provides are way better than an 20% ATK
@@D1FENIX That's fair I think. It's close enough. Luocha's sig helps the team in a slightly different way with speed buffs, and makes him a bit easier to build. So you won't be punished for some relics like if u chose to go HP orb rather than atk
Good video, diffidently helps me out for planning for future pulls! I got lucky and got both E1 and S1 Fu Xuan, I have to say that her lightcone had brought a lot of safety and comfort to me early game when content clearing was a lot harder for me!
Assuming that the characters can either get s1 or have no lc at all isnt very objective, example: seele can use a free lc to get 16 crit rate and some atk after a kill, similar to how himekos best lc is jingyuans but s5 genius repose with 100% uptime isn't more than a 4% dmg loss, but I guess the video will be too long if you compared the dmg increase to every "f2p" option even tho some f2p options arent easy to get eg s5 ddd
Yes. This video was only comparing E1 vs S1. And I would just mention F2P options in some specific cases to justify why I think E1 is better. But yes, there are character who dont need their signature because they have good 4* options
topaz is not s1, e1 is better because she buffs not just her damage, but the whole team damage. Even if topaz get powercreeped, she will its be useful because of the e1 debuff
@@Kape3972 E1 and S1 provide the same team buffs tho. But her S1 provides a bit less to compensate for the free crits and DMG it gives exclusively to Topaz
@@MaxyX DMG wise yes. But her SIG applies an extra "shock" so just from that you are no longer stuck into applying dot only with her follow up or ultimate. Plus the SPD it provides, making you able to reach maximum buff on Glamoth, and allowing you to trigger dot's more times than you would with GNSW S5. And all of this QoL make her S1 better than her E1 imo
@@IDC1603 I assume you are talking about Ruan Mei and that's totally valid. Like I said on the video, her S1 helps a lot because it offers so many things that it makes your life easier to balance her stats. But if you have memories of the past S5 and you already have good stats E1 wins
