Im very new to this game... I don't understand the builds or how to build them. Im at level 12😂. Its a fun game. 48 years old a good way to unwind from work. Im going to keep grinding
@JKOnTheTrack dz is great but not the best challenging open world with 5 directives and do the side objective ie public execution your pretty much guaranteed a level every time you complete one and if you run the first build mentioned takes less than 1 min to complete
Great build, so much fun! Had a little trouble understanding how it works, so here are a few tips: 1 - First headshot with TAC-50 or Nemesis to build the headhunter damage. You get the damage, but don't get determined, so... 2 - Second headshot with 1886 with determined to get the talent activated and you're good to go. If you just kill with the 1886 or the D50 without the headhunter previous damage, you will not get enough damage to one shot elite heroic enemies from the start and you'll need more headshots to build enough damage. It took me a while to figure this out, but once I got the mechanics going... man, heroic with 4 directives feels like storymode.
Bear in mind for the new folks, directives change every season. Exception is Fog of War (no radar), that is always present. There is always an armor directive (no regen, hard to earn, or fragile armor), a skills directive (cool skills or scavenged skills), an ammo directive (pistolero or ammo hoarders), and finally an enemy buff directive (ragers or special ammo). 10 total possible directives, but the combo of 5 changes between those categories each season. Some seasons have pretty toxic combos... enjoy!
@@Chief_Sosa1017 glad you found the information useful. in TU20, the benefits of SHD other than more mats for expertise etc. are capped at SHD2k. There is no more infinite health scaling so grinding really high SHD levels is of no mechanical benefit (even if 'small').
For me, whenever I wanna go farm, I go with a sniper build. 4pc hotshot, 1pc Airaldi(my preference) and memento. With this build, I never run out of ammo, never had an issue with armor and I barely miss my shots. I run with 5 directives, heroic and I farm until I hit 100 SHD levels a day, whenever I get the chance.
Hotshot and determined make 4 the best xp grinding builds. HF pistol determined are probably #2 outside of golden bullet (where the crown goes to EP flamethrower). Solo heroic 5 directives that is (of course).
@@grumpyoldman6503 Don’t forget about reanimated, as well. That’s also my favorite. For that I can use the Hunter’s fury and the D50(determined) All day, all night. Speaking of D50, I will spend whatever EC I have in my arsenal to make that D50 Pistol, a chainkilling machine. But not now, cuz the next update will reduce our expertise costs and so on. Which I believe it’s gonna a maintenance for the next day or two, so I’m mentally preparing for that.
@_Afro reanimated is great fun but it doesn't really speed things up WRT to xp farming for headshot builds in general. 1 hit taps are 1 hit taps, it just lets you run more weapons to achieve the same thing (like svd or m1cqb or an easier to handle pistol like the diceros). It's not really meaningfully faster with respect to xp grinding outside the event, but it's nice to get stars on top of SHD levels for more caches I mentioned GB and flamethrower because kills reset your ammo, which means you can use the flamethrower full time with no real effort. It clears activities like nothing else. That combo was amazing for killing convoys (which was the best xp farm outside of floor10 and floor100 farms or infinite oxi farms, all of which got removed or nerfed into the dirt), and it still is king for burning down respawn waves once you know where they are going to come from. Which is why I mentioned the combo. But the kinds of activities you do and which specific ones all factor into using EP effectively.
@@grumpyoldman6503Hmmm, never tried that before. I’ve always farmed Golden Bullet with my RNG PFE build. But with this method you just gave out, it’s pretty intriguing. I’ll try that farming method when Golden Bullet is live.
I bought this game recently and it's very addictive and good, started out boring but get better and better recently reached lv30 and been farming a lot of loot
They nerfed this. Headhunter no longer activates at 100% on one kill. Challenging and 5 dir is the best way with this build. But honestly striker shield and elmos or cmmg is better and faster with full striker stacks. I love this build, but it will not work on heroic unless you can get 3 back to back headshot kills to max the headhunter talent and then you can 1 shot most everything. But it even shows a bar on the talent now unlike in this video. I was wondering why I couldnt take on CP4s and noticed in the shooting range that the talent doesnt give you the full effect after the first headshot kill. So going from 1 shotting a red to a yellow in heroic is impossible. Would have to chain 3 reds or 2 reds and purple.
I have tried a lot of youtube builds and most don't work like the videos. This works! I haven't tried heroic yet, but challenging with 5 directives it one shots everything once you get going. Since this works with just a d50 I am thinking of trying a clasic m1a to get a better scope.
Only public executions on heroic with 5 directives: 4 Hotshot (mask, gloves, holster and kneepads), Chainkiller and pick your favorite back Pak with wathever you want (I use Airoldi with Bloodsucker because why not...lol). Everything rolled with weapon handling and headshot. White Death with Determined as primary and Nemesis as secondary because if you go Sniper... WELL YOU GO SNIPER!!!! D50 with Determined as handgun. I use Tactician drone and Bulwark shield in case you get rushed. And I know that I'm not alone with this kind of build! Cheers and happy farming!
Been using XP build for a few days now with my White Death, cannot find an 1886 for love nor money. Luckily it's not been a problem. I just find it really interesting using an armour/weapon combo that aren't remotely designed to work together being so good! Cracking idea!
Tux as always great content! Love the Tux clan and would definitely recommend it if you are looking. If I may make one suggestion, run lefty as secondary for countdown. With the radius on firewall grenades it’s easy to get group buffs on damage when needed.
Countdown is the best for farming i played only about 500hrs on ps4/ps5 then swapped to pc and realised i wouldnt have all my gear so doing that game mode has set me up nicely 👌. This game is good to jump on run around and kill stuff without a big time commitment to it and very welcoming to new players who have never experienced this world before.
Tux, thanks for the content. Its the main reason Im able to enjoy the game again even though I only have a few hours a week for it. Question: On HuntersFury build, the crafting table doesn’t allow me to roll on armor unless I give up weapon damage. How did you get it onto your build?
thats the trade and the point. HF is so strong with the amp damage and the weapon combo, we cam power down for insane bonus armor via armor cores and memento
For all the newbies that are looking at this video. Good luck finding the God roll protection from Elites they are very very hard to find I've been playing since day one of the game releasing and I've only found a handful of these
I found the Countdown build an excellent way to get killed, trying to use it against the Hunters at the end when they keep switching the system off 🙂Back to either my True Patriot or Status builds for that, I think 🙂
Hey Tux, Just wanted to say the Heart breaker build is amazing using it now doing count downs feels great!!!! Was getting bored of my Coyote - Striker build like everyone else does it made a difference running out with confidence. I'm going to try out your rifle build for XP also and let you know how it goes. As i said before your content is legendary and a million thank you !!!

Tux, you could say that the amount of armor you should roll, is is determined (no pun) by how good you are to hit headshots… I really suck at it and with 1.2m armor I only have to do one headshot most of the time.
On the rifle hf build no. Armor is irrelevant. But for the HB countdown build, if the hs are a pain I’d swap out gear set to keep Elmo shocker punch combo. Run all 4 pc striker with adrenaline Ceska rush BP and all armor. If you don’t want the shock then kingbreaker heart breaks combo with laser pointer pulse. Cuz without those hs pulses there isn’t stacking and damage will be lacking. The Ouroboros is easy to land those hs
nice build, just wondering if the fact that it's so easy for you is maybe linked to your watch level (12K something) when compared to mine (288)... because the bonuses you can get is still 10% which not negligable... I think... I could be wrong but it's just a thought.
Sorta. I mean watch 1k makes all builds easier to make. Otherwise, all watch says is “experience”. I have a lot. The watch doesn’t help after 1k, but it does say I have spent some damn time in this game. Hehe. 🙃
Really frustrating how many builds are like "Just have Memento". Well I've been farming backpacks on Countdown for weeks and buying exotic caches, and only got 4 Ninjas so far. It's like Memento doesn't exist.
i have on my Hunters Fury all about weapon dmg and still got 1,1 mil armor. And am too lazy to go farm a whole new set :( But, kinda works also like this
Someone please help. In heroic i can't 1 shot the first enemy. Have to shoot twice to proc the determine and headhunter perk. I have more than 300% headshot damage and 1.2M weapon damage but i can never 1 shot the enemies before the fight. And it's normal enemies not the armour type
I use a sniper build my white dead has 1.4 mil damage. use a ninja bike messenger backpack and 5 different pieces (Hotshot,Chainkiller,Airaldi,Habsburg,Aces & Eights ) Headshot damage on everything and weapon handling ! it is a blast ! But I am gonna try that rifle build you showed Tux looks fun
I hear ya. Don’t aim for perfection grab whatever you can get. Put hsd mods on to compensate until you get the pieces you need. Ok to run weapon damage instead of armor on some for now. Also, craft and optimize pieces too
On the countdown build, how are you pulsing for heartbreaker? That's why king breaker is epic (before they nerf it 😢) But you can also use sharpshooter for scanner drone to pulse them
Sharpshooter tac drone for sure works (it will follow you if you don't command it somewhere), but the oreo isn't that hard to tag a head which "naturally pulses" from HB is the answer. Similar if you are using an ACS12 to stack- pretty easy to hit the head with at least 1 pellet up close even if you aren't running tactician for the LLP and a weapon which can mount it. That's how I run my HB- 4HB with 2 imp pieces on survivalist for 5PfE mods +10% (75% if you have 13% mods). Just to tank hunters and the extraction. Stacking HB is not really at issue at point blank with the shotty.
The Heartbreaker set allows you to pulse enemies just by hitting headshots with any weapon. You don't need skills or the laser pointer for that. They remain pulsed for 5 secs so if you're using an automatic weapon, you're sure to keep them pulsed for the entire fight.
@@molimits2 Yes laser pointer makes it a lot easier, but you can't put it on exotics. Heartbreaker gives you that ability and let me tell you, for Countdown, it works like a charm (maybe not for open world, but I never tried it). As long as you're 5m-20m away from the target , as it usually happens in Countdown, it shouldn't be so hard to hit at least 1 headshot every 5 seconds. The fact that it works so well with St. Elmo's is the high stability + accuracy of the weapon. The easiest exotic AR to hit headshots with.
I've made many of your builds, but this is the first time I'm disappointed. That first build doesn't work for me, no matter how i try, every 2nd or 3rd mob I lose Determined and I lose all damage and I get caught with my pants down. There is literally never a fight where it doesn't fail at a crucial moment, leaving you either reloading or with no determined and no damage... I even switched out 3 blue cores, just to make it half decent, because at 6 blue cores it just fails half the time... I have the Expertise.. and I have it fairly optimised.... I'd rather run Hotshot with a Ninjabackpack + piece of Bell stone.. that way you don't have the bonus armor, but you are never left with your D in your hand at a crucial moment. You can't have a Run and Gun build where midway you shoot someone and you lose all dmg.
Hmm. I don’t have that experience at all with this. Streamed it live for hours over several seasons. Are you using the tac and nemesis in mechanics? Heroic 5 directs? Hotshot is cool too though. That’s a great alt.

I run Nemesis and I tried White Death, I have 1600 expertise, I didn't upgrade the rifle though, so I'm missing dmg there that I think you have on, but apart from that, I built exactly what you did. I just keep running into mobs that don't die when I shoot them, removing my buffs, and plummeting my DPS until I do the whole starting thing again with the 1/2 headshots for determined and Headhunter. Been running it today with Hotshot, and althought it's a lot less, I run into the same problem quite often. I had to run 3x Protection from Elites, so I can survive those moments, find cover and use a kit. I can't figure out what is so different in what I'm doing. Sure I understand that if I hit someone with a helmet it breaks the cycle, so I do try to avoid that when I can, but there are moments when heavy gunners or stuff come out and they just ruin the run.
I've had the same problems you have. What I did was swap out the decoy with Ballistic shield, and use the liberty side arm, use the white death in place of the Nemesis. I swap to shield and Liberty when in trouble. Even with that said its still taking me longer to clear control points vs if I just roll in there with all red Striker and Mementos.
@@amelvin32 yeah.. if I run in with my Mechanical Animal Hybrid Build (which btw I also got from Tux) I can steamroll a control point real fast... if I run in with my Umbra-Striker Hybrid I can 1 click anything and run straight through a control point... This build I made for fun... but it's no fun when it keeps locking up. Still I got much better results replacing the HF with Hotshot pieces...
I hate these builds because they don't give me any immersion. I use striker coyote full crit hit. I know it's not fast but i sweat a bunch and feel good when shootin n lootin.
man i follow you day 1 BUT i think i lost you here ..i dunno man ..DZ i met hax hard ..but pve i met hax hard also and very hard TBH . I was playing count down .And come on ,it was heroic and 1 guys dit all the stuff solo..OW boy this game ..Ow boy
OMG! By the time you get the all armor set with all blue armor core and head shot on everything, your watch will probably be SHD level 1000. Edit: I all ready had the Memento. It took me about 14 times to run Count Down to get everything else. Not as bad of a grind as I thought it was going to be.
Get the St Elmo, the memento(exotic back pack), Dark Winter would be nice for secondary weapon, orbit for hand gun, and then use striker or hunter fury build with obliterate on chest piece. Mix in a couple armor cores on pieces for survivability. If still having problems with surviving swap out obliterate for unbreakable on chest piece, or get the Zero F's chest piece.
how do you farm XP in The Division 2?
I don't. i'm level 1600 something, legit, no exploit, no hard xp farm. But your builds are amazing, I loved the hunter one.

For me personally it's the DZ. I level up a lot quicker running around doing landmarks and everything else.

I love hotshot. But that decoy bugs the set stacks. Does that happen for you?

What specialization skills should be used?
Sharpshooter breathe control and headshot damage. Also the ammo regen. Upgrade weapons on skill tree. Use decoy and fixer drone.
Can you get head shots on dogs, drones, and other electronics?
No. But you can apply that headhunter damage and destroy them in one shot. But then you have to reacquire headhunter

What's the best way to get 13% PfE mods? I get 12's all the time. I assume legendary strongholds drop them, but what else?

Someone please help. In heroic i can't 1 shot the first enemy. Have to shoot twice to proc the determine and headhunter perk. I have more than 300% headshot damage and 1.2M weapon damage but i can never 1 shot the enemies before the fight. And it's normal enemies not the armour type
I use a sniper build my white dead has 1.4 mil damage. use a ninja bike messenger backpack and 5 different pieces (Hotshot,Chainkiller,Airaldi,Habsburg,Aces & Eights ) Headshot damage on everything and weapon handling ! it is a blast ! But I am gonna try that rifle build you showed Tux looks fun

How do you get 158% headshot, I have maxed headshot in the attributens in all gears but only get like 140%

Or damage to armor. Try without to see if it’s necessary. I’m sure it will be close to working.

I hear ya. Don’t aim for perfection grab whatever you can get. Put hsd mods on to compensate until you get the pieces you need. Ok to run weapon damage instead of armor on some for now. Also, craft and optimize pieces too

I have no idea how this is meant to work for newer players when I have never seen 90% of this gear and only have like 3 SHD levels….
How did you manage to get 208 countdown credits? I never got more than 160 bro...

play heroic and take all the hunter tag that how i get 208 everytime and dont forget to extract
Yep, it’s 158 for 2 objectives, 160 for 3 objectives on Challenging. 206 and 208 (I believe) on Heroic.
On the countdown build, how are you pulsing for heartbreaker? That's why king breaker is epic (before they nerf it 😢)
But you can also use sharpshooter for scanner drone to pulse them
Sharpshooter tac drone for sure works (it will follow you if you don't command it somewhere), but the oreo isn't that hard to tag a head which "naturally pulses" from HB is the answer.
Similar if you are using an ACS12 to stack- pretty easy to hit the head with at least 1 pellet up close even if you aren't running tactician for the LLP and a weapon which can mount it.
That's how I run my HB- 4HB with 2 imp pieces on survivalist for 5PfE mods +10% (75% if you have 13% mods). Just to tank hunters and the extraction. Stacking HB is not really at issue at point blank with the shotty.
The Heartbreaker set allows you to pulse enemies just by hitting headshots with any weapon. You don't need skills or the laser pointer for that. They remain pulsed for 5 secs so if you're using an automatic weapon, you're sure to keep them pulsed for the entire fight.

@@molimits2 Yes laser pointer makes it a lot easier, but you can't put it on exotics. Heartbreaker gives you that ability and let me tell you, for Countdown, it works like a charm (maybe not for open world, but I never tried it). As long as you're 5m-20m away from the target , as it usually happens in Countdown, it shouldn't be so hard to hit at least 1 headshot every 5 seconds. The fact that it works so well with St. Elmo's is the high stability + accuracy of the weapon. The easiest exotic AR to hit headshots with.

I've made many of your builds, but this is the first time I'm disappointed. That first build doesn't work for me, no matter how i try, every 2nd or 3rd mob I lose Determined and I lose all damage and I get caught with my pants down. There is literally never a fight where it doesn't fail at a crucial moment, leaving you either reloading or with no determined and no damage... I even switched out 3 blue cores, just to make it half decent, because at 6 blue cores it just fails half the time...
I have the Expertise.. and I have it fairly optimised.... I'd rather run Hotshot with a Ninjabackpack + piece of Bell stone.. that way you don't have the bonus armor, but you are never left with your D in your hand at a crucial moment. You can't have a Run and Gun build where midway you shoot someone and you lose all dmg.
Hmm. I don’t have that experience at all with this. Streamed it live for hours over several seasons. Are you using the tac and nemesis in mechanics? Heroic 5 directs? Hotshot is cool too though. That’s a great alt.
@@TuxedoBandido I made it exactly to spec. I run Nemesis and I tried White Death, I have 1600 expertise, I didn't upgrade the rifle though, so I'm missing dmg there that I think you have on, but apart from that, I built exactly what you did.
I just keep running into mobs that don't die when I shoot them, removing my buffs, and plummeting my DPS until I do the whole starting thing again with the 1/2 headshots for determined and Headhunter.
Been running it today with Hotshot, and althought it's a lot less, I run into the same problem quite often. I had to run 3x Protection from Elites, so I can survive those moments, find cover and use a kit.
I can't figure out what is so different in what I'm doing.
Sure I understand that if I hit someone with a helmet it breaks the cycle, so I do try to avoid that when I can, but there are moments when heavy gunners or stuff come out and they just ruin the run.

I've had the same problems you have. What I did was swap out the decoy with Ballistic shield, and use the liberty side arm, use the white death in place of the Nemesis. I swap to shield and Liberty when in trouble. Even with that said its still taking me longer to clear control points vs if I just roll in there with all red Striker and Mementos.
@@amelvin32 yeah.. if I run in with my Mechanical Animal Hybrid Build (which btw I also got from Tux) I can steamroll a control point real fast...
if I run in with my Umbra-Striker Hybrid I can 1 click anything and run straight through a control point...
This build I made for fun... but it's no fun when it keeps locking up.
Still I got much better results replacing the HF with Hotshot pieces...
I hate these builds because they don't give me any immersion. I use striker coyote full crit hit. I know it's not fast but i sweat a bunch and feel good when shootin n lootin.

man i follow you day 1 BUT i think i lost you here ..i dunno man ..DZ i met hax hard ..but pve i met hax hard also and very hard TBH . I was playing count down .And come on ,it was heroic and 1 guys dit all the stuff solo..OW boy this game ..Ow boy
OMG! By the time you get the all armor set with all blue armor core and head shot on everything, your watch will probably be SHD level 1000.
Edit: I all ready had the Memento. It took me about 14 times to run Count Down to get everything else. Not as bad of a grind as I thought it was going to be.

Get the St Elmo, the memento(exotic back pack), Dark Winter would be nice for secondary weapon, orbit for hand gun, and then use striker or hunter fury build with obliterate on chest piece. Mix in a couple armor cores on pieces for survivability. If still having problems with surviving swap out obliterate for unbreakable on chest piece, or get the Zero F's chest piece.
