In Part 3 of "A Doctor's Photographic Journey For Hope" we venture to Bwindi Impenetrable Forrest in Uganda in search of the endangered Silverback Mountain Gorilla. On the way we learn about the situation of the Batwa Pygmy Tribes , conservation refugees who despite overwhelming challenges and poverty , remain deeply connected to their land, community, and heritage, maintaining a sense of hope, cheerfulness, and dedication to overcoming the adversities imposed upon them by circumstances.
In this video I will also briefly explore the ties between Photography and experiences of Awe that affect human brain chemistry and have been shown to improve sense of well being reduce stress , depression, and even post traumatic stress disorders.
We will venture deep within the Jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest treking up the mountains where we discover the most amazing sight , a family of silverback gorillas who change the way we view the natural world forever and provide the sense of hope , solace and healing I had been searching for... .

The mountain gorillas are such fascinating creatures. Visiting Uganda or Rwanda to see them is high on my bucket list. Another very nice video!

@@artiedoc Indeed, each one is better than the last! On an unrelated note, just started Fauci’s book “On Call”. Am only 25 pages in, but so far it’s pretty good.
