In this tranquility, the 'Nature Bird' flies low over the water, while the 'iron bird', an airplane, lands at the nearby Bremen airport.
The Huchtinger Fleet is located just below the landing strip, offering a unique blend of nature and modern technology.
While cycling, I noticed a plant that shouldn’t be here. It’s an invasive species that has made its way into the Fleet. While beautiful, it threatens the local ecosystem, often outcompeting native flora.
The Huchtinger Fleet remains a place cherished by locals - a place where nature thrives and people find a sense of calm in the simple act of walking or cycling.
In the crisp autumn air, it’s a reminder of the balance between nature and human activity, and how important it is to maintain that harmony.
