What reason is there to harass anyone but especially Muse who just primarily makes Silent Hill videos? People need to get a life and stop ruining it for the rest of us who enjoy this content.
Based on personal experience, I'm guessing it's the very nature of her videos. Unfortunately, the Silent Hill community has a number of individuals with *very* strong opinions regarding the games' mythos and symbolism, and anyone who sees things differently can easily become a target for their anger. It's idiotic, obtuse and immature. It's the one reason why I avoid any SH forums, even though I'm a huge fan of the series myself. But, again, that's just my personal guess as to why she might be harassed.
@Binx true. Being a trans, or being in the LGBTQ+ community can easily make you a target of bullying and harassment. There are many fans who posted their videos about their opinions on Silent Hill’s mysteries, and others will find it hard to bully them for having a different opinion. But they could just take Muse’s sexuality to bully him.

The comment that struck me is: "he might have a high school degree, but doesn't seem to have a college degree." Which is something i can relate and start to reflect on... After graduated from a vocational high school and got my degree, i don't attend college because i couldn't since i don't have the money to enroll... So all i have is my high school degree, sure it's from a vocational high school... But it's still just a high school degree. I certainly have a hard time applying and finding a job along with living a poor life. The fact that he also lives in a rental apartment, also i can relate since i also living in a rental home. One that is different... Is that he lives alone, while I live with my family still... Which causes me to think of "being a burden" and all that to everything and everyone. Overall, a nice video that somehow... Makes me reflect

Aaaah, yes, this attention to detail in the environments is literally what I live for. Have you taken a look at the Little Nightmares games? Their is no dialogue or writing, so the entire story is told through the environment. Aside from being ripe for theory fodder, it's just impressive how much they cram into it. I'd love to see you tackle those games with this level of detail. (Not to mention, the LN community is rabid for content, so I'm sure the views would be nothing to scoff at. ;p ) Good work, Muse!
As a Fan of the IP I'm really sorry you experienced something like that. Some fanbase are really so toxic and led to a dangerous entitlement. I just saw your channel and really made me intrigued on the very detailed analysis and interpretation of the series, quite a feat of effort. I sub just for that. Keep doing what you love and ignore the otherworld creatures, there the embodiment of their own sins.
Yeah, being honest, I found 4 to be the most cryptic and... well "convoluted" isn't exactly the word I'm looking for, but hard to follow in the same sense, just not in a bad way. For one thing, I could have sworn the apartment building was the same as the apartments in 2, furthered by James' father living/working there. I also needed these videos just to wrap my head around some of the major plot points, whereas the other games I understood pretty well and just watched for the symbolism.

Not to mention how expensive copies are now. I sold mine (along with thousands of other games and 40 or so consoles) because I was at the worst of my heroin addiction. Now I just saw Silent Hill 3 selling for $300. I have a modded PS2 but still... I really do hope people stop hassling OP and just accept that variety is the spice of life and a world where everyone was wired the same would be dull.

So quick theory: when Henry starts to lose his mind, could it be that the memories and persona of Joseph are being intertwined with Henry's? Like Josephs personality mixing with Henry? That would explain the wierd shoe situation. Joseph was the one to go to Silent Hill, his the one that would keep a scrapbook and the shoes were bought in Silent Hil...
Room 302 is a reference to Silent Hill 2. Remember the room where James was supposed to meet Mary but instead end up watching the revealing cassette. That number is not random.
This was a really interesting watch. Just got my gf to play Silent Hill 2, and I’ve been mulling over the recurrence of room 208. Just the opening of this video made me contemplate the similar possibility of the 0 significance; 2 souls (James and Mary) lost in the void (0) for seeming eternity (8 turned sideways) Probably overthinking it, but given the nature of these games maybe there is some kind of truth to it. Anyhow, always loving your analysis of the series. Keeps my mind turning like Valtiel’s valves.
I like 4. Just not as much as 1. Which I don't like as much as 2 and 3, the masterpieces of the series. Origins was okay, everything outside those five was shite.

A remake of this game would be so amazing. Just imagine how much better an adaptation of this game’s lore and characters would be if it had better gameplay mechanics. Perhaps even more exploration of the character of Henry.

If James lived in an apartment building as a kid, which is implied by the fact that Frank has been the intendent since 40 yrs ago, then the use of a apartment building with heavy symbolism for James' psychi would add up. I still don't really understand the connection of voyeurism, either by it's sexual and original definition, or by a more Gerald Mast or loosely based pop-culture definition of finding excitment in watching others or other events unfold. I can't quite remember if Walter engages with voyeurism, but as far as things go, Henry definitely does not...right? Even the peep hole serves as a way to know if Eileen is safe and wasn't even his own doing, there's genuinely no pleasure or appeal to engaging with voyeurism, nor here, nor anywhere in the game itself. Maybe i'm missing something; not sure if you reply, but i'll leave it here anyway in case someone wants to engage and enlighten me.
Walter experienced voyeurism when he spent time in the Water Prison… being watched from the middle room. Henry experiences voyeurism by not only watching eileen, but from looking out the peephole or looking outside his window in room 302… watching people go about their daily lives

Love Silent Hill videos, but SH4 is the game I don’t really get. So I’m loving these videos to help me wrap my head around this game.

Man, I loved SH4. A bit of an odd-duck in the series and not without it's flaws, but it's got such a vibe to it.
