      We love watching your channel but we keep getting wrinkles we used the tape method to pull a layer off the back of a magazine Page and iron on a piece of wood what can I do to solve this

    • @OurUpcycledLife
      @OurUpcycledLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The trick is to put a very light top coat one. If you put to much on it will wrinkle

      Omg I wish I had watched this before I made my last project. I made salt/pepper shakers out of some recycled spice jars and used scrapbook paper. I dipped the paper in water to make it easier to work with but didn't know the technique of thinning the paper out. 😥 You're so smart! 🦋💜🦋

      Hi, I clicked on the link to your email address list, but all that came up was a sentence saying 'Oops! The page you're looking for seems to be lost.' Is there any way you could fix this problem? I love your channel BTW, it's so helpful. Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia ❤️

      If you need to hairspray (I'm using an ink jet printer), do you hair spray both sides of the paper and when do apply the hair spray?

    It was difficult to follow what you said because I was so mesmerized by your use of the mirror frame with the pegboard. Genius.
    Heavy card stock hasn’t been my issue. I’m completely jealous of the people who do the napkin decoupage.
    I find a good base coat of matte MP makes for success with heavyweight card stock, in my case watercolor paper.
    You have provided me with a great tutorial, I’m going to look at your other vlogs.
    Thank you.

    I've done the tape method before but I LOVE the idea of using the clear protective plastic sheet to work on and to use to smooth it out.

    Hi I am so happy to find your channel! I am going to practice on a nice box with lid . Decoupling has come a long way . I ripped up beautiful paper in random scraps of coordinated papers . Now I find you and blown away! I need to get the tape . I think I am going to go through your playlists ! Thank you 🌺🌸🌹

    Brilliant! Thank you so much, I have oodles of beautiful paper that I want to use and never knew how to decoupage with it easily. You have explained that beautifully and now the possibilities are endless. Thank you for your videos that have shown other techniques on weathering/aging boards also with layered paints & sanding. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for, so grateful.

    I appreciate your video and getting straight to the point and giving clear instructions. I've tried this water method and didn't have success with it, but after watching your video I think I'll try it again because you used a lot less water than another video I watched and this method looks way more manageable. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into making these videos.
