- More than 700 national security leaders and former military officials publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for president in a letter released on Sunday, calling her a candidate who “defends America’s democratic ideals”. They also said her Republican rival, Donald Trump, was “unfit” for the job. Anthony Davis reports.

If he were to become president again I don't think it would be unfair to say him entering the Oval Office will Usher in a new Dark Age for the entire world. They cover at all in that letter except the history of criminality in Trump's life from the very beginning. He's a crook and was fined for laundering money through his casinos for the Russian mob. That never gets any mention.
This is the best 5-minute news I have heard in all my life, Anthony ! Surely, people will listen to these patriotic military men who have committed their lives to protecting all of us here in the USA. I can't imagine anyone not doing so.

I remember, i am a founding member of USA TODAY, fresh out of university, and I got hired. Funny thing is, it was 1982, and within 2 years there was something I had troubles with. Written about like he was a God. The young yuppie hotshot from New York City. He was at it then, but much more tolerable then. The year I moved on and west to work for another Gannett Company newspaper, Trump had a hare-brained idea for a bicycle race from Miami to NYC. Meant to surpass the Tour de France. Really? It happened only in 1989, was probably one of his first failures; and you know what he named it?

This is so heartening.The fear that someone so unfit, narcissistic and immature could win the presidency is a nightmare. He has been acting like a shadow president and influencing Congress. It is time for the u.s to be the strong democracy it is and correct the damage the former guy has done.

We've been having an ongoing heated discussion about how this election is not about the parties anymore. He can't get past the thought that he doesn't like some of the current administration's way of handling situations and wants them out. I, otoh, am a registered republican who's been watching this situation unfold with growing trepidation and great concern. While I also don't agree with everything that's transpired over the last 3.5 years, I do adamantly believe that the answer is *NOT* sending that madman back to the Whitehouse, and I'll be voting blue all the way down the column. It is my fervent hope that after watching this video that maybe my brother will begin to see that there's too much at stake here, and he'll hopefully change his mind.
