Controlling woman has always been the first step for dominants of patriarchal control. Imagine being forced to completely hide yourself like a ghost, like a sheet over your head and body, and not even look into another's eyes in public. This is happening now. Sad but true...😢♥️

I was married to a malignant narcissist, for 32 years. Most of us aren’t aware of this cycle of abuse. It’s a specific and cunning type of abuse, that leaves you trauma bonded. They know your vulnerabilities, but you don’t really know theirs. They love bomb, then test the water to see what they can get away with, then Hoover you with love and attention again. They always have several forms of supply-sex, housecleaning, cooking meals, washing clothes, raising their children. Then, they no longer need you. They begin criticizing you, belittling you, degrade and devalue you. They may have rage and physically abuse you. Then, they desert you. You don’t mean anything to them, and you never did. You were only transactional, you were never a person at all. There is no evil beyond them. You are either a stepping stone or a nuisance to them. Both will eventually be discarded.

    Found on the internets:
In 1992 I worked in Haiti. Our jeep got stuck once crossing a rushing river and threatened to topple, somersault and wash away. Immediately 2-3 men came, called to others and quickly about 20 men came. They called out repeatedly '1-2-3-push'. They were up to their waists in rushing water. Suddenly our jeep was freed from the river bottom, and they pushed it to the opposite shore. Our tires gained traction and we were saved. A cheer went up from the Haitian men who waved and thumbs-up cheered. Haiti has since suffered a devastating earthquake and several massive hurricanes and political instability. The Trump-Vance hate lies about Haitians in Springfield are unconscionable, deliberate and disgusting. These 2 politicians are unfit to run our country.

My reading of history tells me that our country waits until a disaster happens. We’ve never been very good at predicting bad things and stopping them. @@bobfunck6749 this is often a misunderstanding of psychology. While a psychological assessment can be biased, the statement that “there are no ‘unbiased psychological assessments’” is not only untrue, but also a dishonest representation of what legally required psychological assessments are. While two psychiatric professionals may disagree to severity or root cause, they would be unlikely to disagree on the exhibited symptoms. The Goldwater rule was meant to keep mental health professionals from speculating wildly based on quoted comments made, completely divorced from context. At this point, we have a decade of public data on Donald Trump’s mental fitness declines. I’m this case they’re not guessing about context when they analyze his speech patterns across multiple election cycles and countless rallies. That said, there is more than enough evidence to the public that if, say, a nuclear submarine crew member was making the exact same speeches and patterns, they would be immediately removed from their duties, not due to their politics, but to their obvious mental health crisis..

Just one correction, Putin didn't create the oligarchs in Russia. They were Soviet businessmen who pounced on Gorbachev's industrial privatisation policies in the early '90s following the collapse of the Soviet Union. They compounded their wealth under Yeltsin through the '90s while the rest of the world looked on (London for one was notorious for welcoming them as legitimate businessmen). Putin merely tapped into the phenomenon for political gain. Yes, he amassed a lot of wealth in the process, but he is primarily a political oligarch who has monopolised power in the worst possible way.

In 2010 Colin Firth and science correspondence Tom Feilden commissioned University London professor Geraint Rees to do brain scans on Conservatives and Liberals. The scans showed that all conservatives had an abnormal brain scan. The conservatives had a larger fear center and less grey matter than liberals. There are numerous articles on this discovery. Our major problem now is , how do we live side by side with mentally unstable people now that they have been placed in center stage. They've been normalized. This is and will be a very difficult thing to live with as we walk down the sidewalk with unstable people daily.

Back in the late 80's I found myself living in a small mountain village in southern Germany and working for a small wine producer, I got to meet and talk with many of the locals, one of which happened to be an ex SS officer who had served in WW2.
He was very apologetic about what he described as being swept along with nationalist pride and acting in a way that he deeply regretted ! He described how Adolf had a way of talking that produced a reaction in those who heard him even though they knew what he was saying wasn't really acceptable but they went along with it because they felt they needed to ! This lead to some of the worst atrocities in modern history but they did what they were told to do because they were also told it was for the good of the country and the people ! When they heard about Hitlers death they all suddenly realised it was over and they came to their senses but they had been manipulated very easily by promises of reforming the country and elevating themselves by driving out 'under classes' of people, the similarities today are obvious for me !

One of my great uncles in Germany was conscripted, as was anyone his age unless you'd rather be shot or sent to the camps. He was in Paris when the allies liberated the city. He and his fellow conscripts surrendered because their parents told them they'd have a decent chance with the Americans. He eventually was sent to a camp in the Carolinas where he worked in the kitchens. He said they were all astonished at how much of everything the US Army had because they had been told lies about both Germany's strength and ours. He said the more he saw the angrier he got towards the Nazis and he thought they must have all been crazy to ever think they could win, especially once the US came into the fight.

This is such an important conversation ... about such important documentaries! I had a nervous breakdown when Trump beat Clinton in 2016... because my father was a malignant narcissist just like Trump and I knew what kind of hell awaited America. Only the fact that Trump knew nothing about how to run the government and quickly chose people (after not expecting to win) to help him learn the ropes saved us. The reason NONE of those people have endorsed him this time is because they know what a second Trump administration would look like: the destruction of democracy. I was shocked / not shocked that the mainstream news industry shut down all talk of Trump being crazy back in 2016 and continues to do so today. (After all, then they might have to declare him unfit for public office... and lose all those ad dollars.) But I still hold out hope that this subject will finally get the attention it needs and deserves. In honor of my late mother, who suffered the abuse heaped on her by my father for 20 years (which didn't end after their divorce in what he said to my sister and me), I will share this video widely.

We don’t all have that “authoritarian “ bone in us. I have been repulsed by him since long before he ran for president. There’s a certain sameness to the Trumpies. I have relatives that are MAGAs. But the way they lived, what they thought was funny, how they punished their kids, certain aspects of their behavior, even right down to how they “got over” on our grandmother financially and in other things is exactly opposite of how my siblings and I were raised. And that was always there. When we were kids we were allowed to visit, stay over and play with them, but our parents taught us to be leaders amongst our friends and cousins. Some of my childhood friends told me that they were better people having hung around with us (which surprised me and was a great compliment). My cousins, aunt and uncle are very proud of being MAGA and seem even happy of our incredulity over Trump and all this nonsense. Happy that we were dismayed and angry about Trump. I think Trump made them feel good about themselves and the “legitimacy” they Trump gives them. I think they felt looked down upon by us and society in general. We didn’t mean to be judgmental, but it’s hard to ignore or be around people who use the n-word or even thinks that way. My cousins are Asian-Italian and experienced some discrimination because of that. Their mom immigrated here, and it baffles me that they of all people would align themselves with a man like Trump. They think he’s great and you cannot talk reason to them. I’ve given up and don’t have contact with them. But I think they were damaged before Trump came on the scene and that very damage is what made them vulnerable to his manipulation. I have gay male friends that are Trump supporters. I also have gay male friends that hate Trump. I’m much more interested and afraid of their mindsets and the mindsets of MAGA in general. Because Trump is old, he will die sometime in the near future, but all his rabid supporters will still be here just waiting for another leader to take over the cult.

What worries me is the rift it causes. It's like the American Civil War. Family members pitted against one another. Marriages breaking up over this. Lifelong friendships irreparably destroyed.
The genie is out of the bottle, Pandora has opened that box. The spirit of the Confederation is still there, giving rise to their -- as they feel it -- suppressed voices for 160 years.
All the warnings, valiant as they are, put out now by MTN and others will fall on deaf ears. As much as the left leaning part of the population categorically will dismiss anything that Trump or MAGA says, so will his followers flatout dismiss all the warning signs. Because he makes them feel good.
But the quiet part is being said aloud now. That woman in Washington state fervently protesting in favour of destroying the democracy. Maga politicians stating "I am against healthcare for all."
      WTF??
If the US descends into mayhem, Russia and China will be laughing all the way to the world stage.

More people need to view the Heritage Foundation educational VIDEOS uncovered by Politico. They explain Project 2025, it's implementation & players. Much faster & easier to digest than the booklet.

One point I would push back on is that the attraction to authoritarianism is latent in all of us. I. don't believe this for a minute.

This is an excellent, intelligent analysis from well-spoken Partland and his film is a monumental exposee for these times. It is frightening, however, as this is not going to be over after Nov 5. when this oligarchic power, as he states, has a developed global core of people who want to establish authoritarian policy. When the Power of Love overcomes the Power of Money, the world will know Peace.

Needing to be the hero, then needing to be a victim, all the virtue signaling, the denial, lack of remorse. A modern cult leader who had a big platform to start his cult with. Aren't cults illegal somehow? Anyway the individuals of cults have to co-exsist with the rest of us, under the same laws

Mental Health problems can affect anybody, including politicians in and out of office. It’s part of life. Keeping our eyes tightly shut and pretending it isn’t hurts far more than it helps anyone, especially people dealing with mental illness.
