Just by the title i knew that this video is for me. I'm so incredibly glad you addressed this topic, because as a Christian who comes from a complex trauma background, find it incredibly difficult to leave the past behind. The road is lonely as there's little and limited understanding for this topic among Christians. You either stand on 2 Cor 5:17 and Phil 3:13-14, or you don't really want to leave the past behind, only dwel in there...and from that point on it becomes a taboo topic. I've reached a point that i cannot escape into work, as I'm physically as well as emotionally exhaused, have no rest for my soul. The wonderful thing is that the Lord knows what He's doing: calling me closer to Him. I keep crying just by the thought that He loves me the way i am; with all my shortcomings and weaknesses!? How is it possible, I often ask Him. He will make a way in us to do His work. He knows our hearts and He sees that we want to be formed and live from the newness of life. God bless you sister 🙏❤
