I am leaning towards using Affinity Designer more and more and sharing today my favourite way of creating vector brushes from previously created artwork to save myself - and you guys - some precious time! Fantasy Cartography has been my passion for some time now. And I've created quite a few worlds by now. There's just something magical when you can open a Fantasy book and see a map of a completely new world. Book Maps should be a must thing for authors to implement. And I know some stories are not really in need of a map, but when you see someone else's imagination come to life, and be a part of this creation, it's something magical. Fantasy maps not only help you follow your character's journey but allow the readers to fully immerse themselves in the world created.
Let's not allow only DND and RPG players to enjoy the beautiful designs and multitude of choices! Fantasy Maps and Map generators are not only for games, they're also a part of storytelling.
Writers, authors, and dungeon masters, all know the importance of a well-crafted Fantasy Map. And Fantasy Map artists and Fantasy Cartographers know how to elevate their work so it looks unique, and beautiful and represents the original thought of the creator.

is there a way in affinity designer pixel persona, to snap a line to a perfectly straight line or perfect circle ; at the end of a stroke ( kind of like procreate does it?)

Don't think this functionality exists, to be honest. For straight lines, I use the dot menu (command controller) with arrow up. This will continue your stroke. So I make a dot with brush tool at the start of my line, then press the arrow up on the Command Controller, and then make a dot at the end of my desired line which creates a one continuous straight line from the forst dot to the second one.
As for cirles, you can use a selection tool with elipse shape as I don't think there is any other way in pixel persona to make cirles.
You can always switch between vector and pixel personas as well. Although it is an extra step, it will help you create more precise lines and shapes.
And you can change the look of the lines on those shapes to match with your brush.
