Original 80's RP was one of my favorites! I am both excited for, and disappointed in this new one. I will be customizing mine some. Going to remove the stomach tat, sculpt his forearm shield, add some spikes to the left side of his pads/armor, add some paint details, etc ... Also, on my original 80's RP I always had him wearing these spiked ice climbing shoes that came with the old "Blizzard" figure. It made Road Pig even taller and more intimidating. I plan on sculpting some for this figure too!
After seeing Damazing's review, and watching him pose this figure, I knew I had never been so wrong about a figure in my life. Lol! This version of Roadpig is awesome! I don't like the yelling head sculpt, but I never like expressive headsculpts. I'm torn between looks. I like the regular head, the muzzle, and the pig mask. I guess I'll just have to rotate through the looks.
I think they did a really good job with Road Pig I like the belly rocker and I think his new face is WAY better than the original his OG face always made me think of the dad from Happy Days lol

Nonetheless, good video Punk. I like the emphasis on the pig stuff because otherwise, Road Pig's name is kinda nonsensical. While it might seem cheesy to some, at least the Hasbro/GI Joe crew tried to make something fresh and new out of a very unique and niche character. Road Pig is an homage to "The Road Warrior"/"Post Apocalyptic Movie" type antogonist and I like the Mad Max look of the original that has been carried over (with some fresh ideas) here. The dog and extra head sculpt for it is a nice addition as well! A fun deluxe figure for sure! Great job sir! Keep em coming!
Should be gettin mine on the 18th. Super excited, love all his accessories especially that pig mask. I don’t mind his redesign, I think he looks sick! 🤘

Funny how the original 3.75" Road Pig's crossbow is bigger than this new 6+" RP's. It was a major feature on the original, but barely noticeable on this one.
Nice review. Not feeling the head sculpt on this one, sadly. Looks too smooth and baby-faced. Almost cartoonish. When I think of Road Pig, I can't help but think of the vintage card art, where he was more grizzled. Seems they based the face entirely on the old figure, which was kind of chubby and goofy.
So much new sculpting and accessories here, deco is fantastic, big chonky boy... hell yeah this is the kind of fig I have no problem paying full price for, no regrets. Mine should be here tomorrow. My only question now is... does he look cool with Porkbelly?

And now that I know I'm not alone, I can stop obsessing over that bullshit concept... If they conceived however in the first place that maybe Road Pig dug a hole in the ground, mixed high grade concrete, and shoved a steel pipe in it before it cured, we wouldn't have this irritating mind-f'k.

Road Pig looks way better than on the digital renders. It's strange that we haven't seen any actual diorama shots of him from Hasbro :/ I Don't really like the tattoos, but I understand that he's a dumb guy in a biker gang, so he won't get his tattoos from the best tattoo artists, so it fits him :D

As a kid we would carry them around but when you would find one we’d do tricks on it cause we were young and they were heavy enough not to move. Guys now use them to create ledges to skate cause they make an easy base support.

That dog is a custom of my dog Roman, he is made for the buck of Junkyard. Rawkus also uses the same buck, only the head is different
