    Can you share the training pack?

    • @RocketScience
      @RocketScience  3 ปีที่แล้ว +313

      Unfortunately training packs can't spawn you on the wall which is why this was set up through BakkesMod. You can create a binding with it and then under Insert command you just copy paste the following: "player stop;player location 4070 2500 510;sleep 17;player stop;player location 4070 3000 510;player rotation -14000 16384 16384;player velocity 20 0 0;ball stop;ball location -700 0 100;ball velocity 0 2060 0; boost set 20"
      I tried making a training pack where you fall into the curve but that changes the timing so it's not good practice.

    Actually easy to learn.
    Here's a way that's better to learn it than looking at visual cues:
    Champ+ (and probably diamond+ players) have an intuitive understanding of when the curve will eat your jump. Try to get your jump eaten at the last possible second. This way you don't have to drill specific speeds and angles. GC1 and I can do this 50% the time immediately with this mindset, and at angles other than perpendicular.

    3:03 The centrifugal force actually is just a myth(unless it's real in rocket league, I don't know) and it's actually a result of the tendency of objects to move in a straight line. Because circular motion is unnatural, the object or car's inertia will "push" it down since it was driving down the wall, meaning it wanted to continue driving straight down, but there was a curve

    I've been practicing this for about an hour now, and I decided to try it in the dunk house, because I like hoops. I found it easier to notice when you actually get the boost, because the map is smaller. Also, because it's smaller, you can practice faster by driving back and forth on the walls, instead of turning around to the same wall. I also tried this driving in reverse, and to my surprise, it's actually possible backwards.

    • @RocketScience
      @RocketScience  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But the curves in hoops are again tighter. So it might be similar to driving off the backboard but it's certainly not the same as the side wall curves in a regular map. And yeah backwards seems tougher but it's pretty insane with a half-flip after.

    You can do it on the corner walls. My best goal I wave dashed sideways then side flipped off the corner for a sick spinning goal. No idea how that happened till I saw this video

    BTW guys, you can do something similar on flat ground for wavedashing. The video went over it but I'll discuss it further here. When you wavedash, instead of pressing the second jump once, keep the stick in that direction and spam jump 3 times. This gets you an extra dodge and up to speed very quickly.
    Yes, it is literally a dodge right after a wavedash, but it is a super quick way to get up to speed on flat ground without boost. I use it off walls and on some kickoffs instead of a speedflip.

    Could you do it going up the wall the same way? Maybe to push an aerial shot faster? Or the ceiling curve to get a faster ceiling shot? If so I think that’s where this could really be a game changer.

    It's funny cuz I did this other day and was like "is anyone taking advantage of getting 2 wave dashes from a corner?"
    I wave dashed to the wall thinking the enemy was gonna go up the wall but he switched to a ground play so I wanted to pick up speed and tried to wave dash to the ground but was in the corner and got such a quick wave dash I was blown away. Then I saw this lol xD
