I have been binge watching all your travels since I discovered you 3 wks ago and I am loving every minute. I am 79 yrs old, settled in Virginia and due to health issues I no longer travel. My biggest road trip was from Phila., Pa. to Salt Lake Utah. My ex husband was in the Army and got stationed at Fort Douglas and the kids and I had to drive to join him. It was me, 4 kids ages aged 17, 15, 11, and 9 along with a husky riding in a Suburban. 5 days later I was still sane and enjoyed the landscapes. Now you are allowing us to see the world through your eyes.
As I'm sure you noticed, unlike the East Coast, the Oregon Coast has minimal developmen5. We, Oregonians have voted to keep our coastline undeveloped and accessible for the people of Oregon and our millions of guests like you guys. Love our Oregon coast.
I’ve said it before… David, your maneuvering skills with your setup is top notch! Glad our Oregon trees didn’t reach out and bite. Tickled that Sondra got to see the otters. So cute the way they float and snack at the same time. Great drone footage as well! You made our coast look even more amazing! Safe travels you guys!❤️~Wendy
Yes she is! And I like that she errs on the side of caution too. Too many people just willy nilly it, then boo hoo when they’re wrapped around a tree or in a ditch. Great job Sondra!👍🏼
The ocean footage is just phenomenal both photo and video!! You amaze me David the way you can thread the needle with your rig, and Sandra you are as calm as ever being his eyes in the back. What a team!!
Amazing getting into that spot! I just love your show, no sponsor, just you and wife living such a wonderful life. That’s how I visualized the American life. I am living it through your life and travels.
The Oregon coast is so stunning, it's great you managed to 'squeeze in' a visit. Sondra got an otter fix, great photos. And David, what a big rig pilot extraordinaire. See you next week.
You did not disappoint! The videos and photographs of the Oregon coast were superb and then you gave us beautiful photos of the Marine life at the center and a blood pumping experience of parking the rig. Great job on all of it. Looking forward to your adventures in Idaho. Safe travels and “see” you next week.
We recently left that Thousand Trails park and a huge hat tip to you for getting in any site with your big rig. The Oregon coast is just gorgeous - great video!
That was some serious parking partner. As usual, it's another interesting and great video. Enjoy, and I'll keep riding along. Thanks for not getting tired of me hanging with you guys.
Born and raised in Oregon. I may live in Washington State now, but the beauty of Oregon and the coast cannot be compared to anywhere else. I make sure to return to the coastline at least once a year if not more. I love being only a few hrs from this stunning view. I am so glad that you were able to go to the aquarium. Happy travels.
I was prepared to hear (from David but to my surprise I didn't) something like, "If you haven't been to the Oregon Coast, you Otter" lol. Beautiful coastline indeed. It reminds me of the coast of CA, which is a given. David does an excellent job driving that rig in those tight places but I know the feeling when it comes to trees. Thank you for that treat.
We were in that exact site at South Jetty. Even with just a 40 ft class A it was tight. No wonder the picnic table and fire ring was moved and yes there was a lean towards the passenger side. Thank you for the wonderful cinematography this we can share without family and friends.
The views of the Oregon coast line were breathtaking, I can only imagine how special it was to be there in person. Sondra, I agree, otters are such special creatures!
Visited Oregon for the first time this past August. My wife and I absolutely cannot wait to go back! Traveled the whole coast and it was breathtaking! Loved your video…it took us right back! Thank you and safe travels!
Thank you so much for taking us along with you. Breath taking and beyond beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. Stay safe and enjoy all of your adventures . Have a great and blessed day.
Feel very lucky living in the area you visited at the Oregon Coast. It never gets old for me and seeing other people enjoy is very cool to see. I'm glad the Oregon coast is under developed keeps it as natural as we like it.
Beautiful sights to see! The scenery from the drone was exquisite! I’ve been to Portland a few times but not to the ocean. It’s on my bucket list for sure. Thanks for capturing such wonderful adventures for those of us tagging along for the ride. Safe travels!
Amazing parking your big RV in that spots! Beautiful scenery along the Oregon coast. Drone footage is wonderful for viewing the Pacific Ocean. Thanks for sharing ❤
We camped at Vista Park on the Columbia River at Skamokawa WA. We put Kayaks in at the boat launch and turned upstream bearing left and there were wild river otters when the stream was small.
We have been on the coast of Oregon, it is beautiful! Thank you so much for the return trip!! The drone work is amazing!! I agree the Pacific coast is special!! ❤❤❤
Wow that was some maneuvering to get into that camping spot- and they call those two lane roads! You guys have nerves of steel! Great video! Such beautiful landscape out in Oregon!
We really love the way you edit your videos! Love the occasional still frames mixed in, title inserts ,and great background music too, that speaks for your creativity! Very well thought out!!
Our Hydro Thermo Specialist made history of touching both oceans and the Arctic Ocean in one year. Well done!!! The Oregon coast is so special. Safe travels. Great Job getting the rig in the campsite.
Thanks, Bill for recognizing that fluid accomplishment plus I was in it at the Sea of California down in Puerto Penasco, Baja, Mexico. It was cool....uh... actually, cold! 😆 🤣
Great show we are in south jetty now and saw our friends coach in your video. I sent this to our friends and family so they could see where we are. Great job parking
Finally saw some otters Sondra. I see otters all the time out back in the lake they come through the pipes that connects the lakes and canals together. Tried to put some pictures up but didn't work
Great trip to the Oregon coast. I live here in Washington and I love the Oregon and Washington coast. I am a charter bus driver and I’ve done trips along the Oregon coast and the Washington coast and I just love it like always another great video. You guys got to see the otters, the sea animals, and the Pacific Ocean have a safe journey to your next destination.
Waaaaay back in 1990 I was solo full timing , and spent a weekend right near the Dunes. I had an f150 & a small 5th wheel. I went a bit north from the Dunes & visited the Heceta Head Lighthouse. Thanks for bringing back that memory!!
I almost forgot it was thursday, glad to see you made it around Oregon, we have so many fires this month. grey water disposal is a non full up site. you only have to run a garden hose to the dump and no black tank dumping
Yeah...we saw that at another park in the area so very different. Nice feature to get rid of grey water though. Glad you remembered it was Thursday! Thanks...sorry about the fires this year. They are everywhere!
Wonderful video, guys! There's really nothing like the Pacific - and particularly on the CONUS west coast - although I'm pretty partial to it from Maui, too! SUPER good job parking there, David - wow! SO appreciate y'all sharing your travels with us. :)
I don’t wright in to these very often, almost never😊 but wanted to thank you for sharing your adventures, you seem to enjoy the same way we like to travel and camp and sight see. We our getting older and may never get to see some of the places and travel experiences that you do. Also thanks for the gorgeous pictures. I’ve been watching for quite a while some time. Thanks again😃😃👍
We have done the coast to coast thing. One weekend, we were in Wilmington NC and the next weekend, we were in Monterey, CA. So in just over a week's difference, we stood in two different oceans.
Wow, I had anxiety when you guys arrived at that park. That was tight! Can’t believe you got the trailer in so easily with that minimal room for the nose of the truck to swing. Nice work!!
Great teamwork and great job on backing your rig into that site. We've been to the Oregon coast a few times and it has to be one of the most beautiful coastlines anywhere. Manzanita Beach, Depoe Bay, Newport, Yachats - we love them all!
Again a great video. I was on the Oregon coast in 1986 traveled with my uncle from Sherman Texas to Lake Elsinore California to see my Dad then up the west coast. Oregon was so beautiful too . then up to Everett Washington and the puget sound. The whales and wildlife were amazing. Didn’t see any otters. Sorry Sondra!! Safe travels
Thank you for a beautiful journey! You have given us a glimpse of a part of the country that we probably will never see in person. Safe travels, you otter have a great time now! 😂
I lived in Florence Oregon for 13 years and I'll tell you it's a very beautiful place where winters are a little challenging but one of the most beautiful places on the Pacific coast
Cool video nice parking! I lived on Oregon coast near yachats for 2 years in an off grid cabin! Was about 30 mins north of Florence and I’m glad to see you made it to the yaquina lighthouse so beautiful there !
Wow, so beautiful. I love it because you can enjoy the beauty of the coastline and the land. I have been blessed to have gone to Hawaii and the Caribbean but never Alaska, one place I would love to go to. I love sea otters, they are so cute. I enjoy your videos so much. You have taken me so many beautiful places, thank you so much for sharing your adventures.
Always love these teamwork videos and especially the audio feed. Watching some of those guys as they watch you roll in reminds me of my wife and I bringing our 50 sundeck trawler into PNC and Canadian marinas when it was windy and tight with tides flowing. Many were not built for a boat like that. Lots of "Hey Wayne , watch this!" Being beamy, with lots of windage and no bow or stern thrusters often made things....interesting. Would have loved to have a good headset like you guys. We had 3 rules....no screaming, no body parts between the boat and the dock, and if we were going to hit something, hit is gently. On the upside, and despite the pressure of a gallery, you always had people on the dock to catch lines and offer beers. Thanks for posting and nice work as always.
Thanks. No volunteers for bow lines with our rig! 🤣But we definitely get the onlookers and campers who pull up a chair to "watch the show". We've disappointed so many people! 😁😂getting your 50 Sundeck into a slip with wind and currents is no easy task. Appreciate your time watching the channel.
Hi guys!! We just got back Tuesday from 2 months on the road. Hubby has some Dr appointments, and we're heading out again mid-August. You are right about the West Coast being beautiful! We hear the waves from our home base. It's been nice being back in the cooler weather. Very hot in Idaho and Montana while we were there!! Safe travels ...💜
Glad you enjoyed my front yard! Live in Seal Rock, just south of Newport and the aquarium. Some nights we hear the seals barking on our rocks! I admired your parking as I don't have that problem with my 22' Airstream. Hope your travels continue to be exciting and safe. The rock outcropping are from million years ago lava flows from up near Portland and Washington.
It's always worth it to be at the Oregon coast. We RV'd at Astoria 2 years ago. And about 14 years ago we drove down the Oregon coast on a round-about-way to Arizona from North Dakota with our 2 youngest who were about 5 and 9 then. We stopped at the aquarium and the sea lions caves. Such a beautiful area.
You Guy's did a Excellent Job . My Wife and i hauled mobile home's it the 80's and Our Craziest haul was from our base state in Texas was a 14x56 to Desert Hot springs California and the best part was it went to a RV Park and The Wife and I put it on the Spot . Out tractor was a 4070 B cab over International Tractor 16.9 feet long .
The Oregon part of the PCH is one of my favorite drive in the U.S. and we have done it as part of a family RV trip about a half dozen times starting from way out in St Louis. I was born in Washington and lived all over the Pacific Northwest until I enter the Airforce. Just so much to do and see that it takes many trips to get it all done. We always started on highway 101 in the Olympic peninsula and RV'd to southern California. We have not done it since we got our 45' 5th wheel though. Will need to do some planning for that after watching this video. Thanks again for some great stuff!
Oh man... now I wanna go!! Just added to my have to visit list - which is getting longer not shorter. That was certainly a tight one - I don't know if I would have been so brave to drive through - maybe they could have taken me to some sites via the golf cart first. Awesome job manuvering!

Just discovered your channel and I’m absolutely enjoying it. The trip to Oregon and the sights were just breathtaking. Can’t wait to watch more
Welcome aboard! Thank you so very much for your time watching the channel.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Look forward to more videos and will looking at some of the previous videos you have posted.
Hi guys, really great video and truly amazing reversing skills. Safe travels
Glad you enjoyed it, Brendan! Hope you are doing well. It was definitely a teamwork situation!
@@bigtruckbigtravels Appreciate you producing the channel.
Welcome back! It's been hot in most areas this year. Glad you had a safe trip.
Great video. The Oregon coast is the best in my opinion. Good teamwork getting into that site!!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks
Oh wow! You have a great backyard! Love that area. Thanks
Nice trip. Beautiful area. 😍
Nice. That would make tight spots easier! Thanks
Wow what a beautiful ocean view!!
Yes it was! Gorgeous. Thank you for watching
I loved the drone footage of Heceta Head Lighthouse. That is one of my favorite places. Photos and video footage are beautiful. Loved the otters, too.
Glad you enjoyed it, Phyllis! Beautiful area and we had nice weather too.
So beautiful, yes TT Florence is tight just got back from there 3 weeks ago. Safe travels !
Glad you had a good time. Hope your site was not as tight as ours. Beautiful area.
WOW! You are amazing at handling that rig!!!
Thanks 👍
Shots from the coast that really quieten my spirit…thank U! Again what a team navigating sites. I out fished hubby today by 4 🎣 today 😊canada🇨🇦❤
That is awesome! Hope they were bigger too! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks
Beautiful drive. Thank you for your service and we'd have to change rigs to get on the PCH on California Hwy 1.
What a great driver , and great team work backing in . 😊
Thanks 👍Keith. It's great teamwork for sure.
Oh man... now I wanna go!! Just added to my have to visit list - which is getting longer not shorter. That was certainly a tight one - I don't know if I would have been so brave to drive through - maybe they could have taken me to some sites via the golf cart first. Awesome job manuvering!
Thank you. I was hoping for the golf cart invite but it never materialized!
