The Talented Mr. O'Brady
Sooo, how did Colin get out of the crevasse?
In 1965 on my 1963 scwinn paramount it took 42 days. We had no support. Our equipment created a miserable ride. The book is published selling on amazon, utube video documents with pictures and news articles documents the Newport beach to the new york world's fair. 42 days and 15 lbs. Lightet.
i ma the first
Listening to Colin explain his thoughts on risk taking in regards to fatherhood (new father to a young son), to me, seems overly simplistic and narcissistic. A long explanation without being able to actually verbally commit to placing fatherhood above risk taking in his life. The missing point for Colin is risk assessment, with an educated assessment of his endeavors. Using analogies such as sitting on the couch watching Netflix or not driving to work, only shows me this is a guy who still has long way to go on the road to adult maturity.
On the flip side, it does appear that subconsciously he may have adjusted his risk tolerance as the RAAM is a little less risky than a solo Antarctica traverse. maybe its just that he cannot bring himself to admit it...... yet.
WTF! This is NOT the world's most grueling bike race. The three grand tours are.
But that’s three races …
@@theaxeman37 You're right. I guess I was think, just pick one........
Ahhh I’m with you. I thought you were eluding to sepp kuss doing all three last year. Totally misunderstood 😜
