I think the fact that she’s stayed exactly the same and not let fame get to her head is why she’s so popular, her film history would turn the most humble person into a different personality,I’m a huge movie buff and I don’t often say this but…her role in Wolf of Wall Street was perfection ❤

She stands out with everything. Her acting, personality, characters she chose. Basically fearless!!! She seems to have a likeable personality. Quick fame yet she is sweet and simple in her interviews with sometimes a childlike sense of curiosity and amazement! Her grounded personality and sense of simplicity makes her more connectable and relatable to everyday average fans.

Margot impresses me with everything she does and she made over 50M$ salary with Barbie and she absolutely deserved it. May she never change but change the industry itself. A total power woman😍

Young, ambitious, smart-mouthed, tenacious, and fearless. What gravitates me to her as a person is that she is unpretentious, and she respects people not social status…way to put Will Smith on his place.

She was great as Harley Quinn, and the wife in Wolf of Wall Street (the story about her slapping Leo in Wolf of Wall Street was great), but watching her in Babylon, she was phenomenal in that. Her entrance and dance scene in the beginning of Babylon really pulls you in to the story.

    • @joesterling4299

Babylon was a mixed experience for me. You're right--she's great in it. But I would love to edit that film so it isn't such a total gross-out, particularly that party at the beginning. It's more than possible to show the decadence of the elite in the 1920s without getting so scatological.

How is she opening more opportunities for more women "there", whatever there is? If "there" is Hollywood, she is a good-looking actress, not a social worker, so she does no open opportunities... She is in a position in which she is because of her good looks, not because she is a really incredible actress and a bit of luck.

She has a production company, works behind scenes, as well as being an actress. Look up her bio. She's smart, hard working. She does alot of her own stunts, works behind camera. So even if she wasn't an actress she contributes to movie making.

@@ozymandiasultor9480 For all your pseudo-intelligent talk you don't seem to realize that Margot started a production company that gives female actresses, directors, scriptwriters etc more opportunities. She produced I, Tonya and it was nominated for the Oscars and Allison won for Best Supporting Actress. She produced Promising Young Woman and that movie also received multiple Oscar nods and earned writer & director Emerald a Best Screenplay Oscar. She has been slowly but surely creating opportunities for women in the industry. Don't just shoot your mouth off without learning the facts.

That's a very nice comment but personally I wouldn't even consider her in the same galaxy as Sharon Stone. Prime Sharon Stone was magnetic, alluring, captivating and, when she needed to be, fatal. Margot is attractive but for me that's all she really has, and I find her very uninteresting. She has absolutely none of the presence or traction that Stone had.

I can only speak for myself here. I find her cool (not the stereotype don't give a f cool). Cool in a sense that she doesn't take herself seriously, she knows when to be serious and insightful, when to be fun and just chill. When she's serious she's not patronizing. She's aware that many people find her attractive and she's humble about it without feigning "really? I don't think i'm pretty, bla bla bla". And she doesn't buy into perpetual victim mentality.

Birds of Prey was NOT the first female directed superhero film. Wonder Woman filmed in 2017, Birds of Prey was not until the end of 2018 and 2019. In spit of that factual flaw, I did enjoy this documentary on Margot Robbie and have nothing but praise for her as both an actor, and as an artist. Her beauty may sometimes get the door open, but her talent and drive are what keep those theater seats warm with audience butts. Make no doubt about it, she can and should continue to be a face folks will enjoy watching.

She has been my favourite actress since the TV series 'Pan Am' back in 2011. She was rather green in that but her character Laura Cameron was immensely charming and likeable.
Kate McKinnon talked about how intimidating it was to stand near Margot because she is so beautiful but then she will open her mouth and be an absolute sweetheart. I like how her warm & down to earth natufe endears her to both her colleagues and thr media alike. I feel her Australian charm adds to her appeal. She has no ego whatsoever.

Lots of great Aussie actors worked on Neighbours, the hours are long and actors have to know their lines because of the tight schedule and they’re paid crap money. So when they get to Hollywood they usually have a reputation as hard workers that don’t complain and are easy to work with.

I'd absolutely love to see Margot play Anna Nicole Smith in a movie someday, even just as part of a bigger story ala Once Upon A Time. Not only does Margot resemble Anna, but she makes playing the most complex, emotionally demanding roles look effortless and I'm sure her production company would treat such a project with the care it deserves.

33:03 'Birds of Prey' was NOT the first superhero movie directed by a woman. That honor goes to Rachel Talalay for directing the female led, "Hollywood" live action, comic book adaptation in the 1995 movie 'Tank Girl'. And if she was not officially the first, she at least did it before 'Birds of Prey' If you are going to praise women for their contribution in Hollywood and cinema, at least show some respect to those who did it first and not ignore them to claim originality.

You sound like a teenager! To share that you fancy her would’ve been more than enough. It’s just a really subjective thing, and considering that the movie industry is a little bit more diverse now, it makes it odd to claim the most beautiful one is: white, blond and with blue eyes. It’s simply your taste, it’s not an objective thing, dude. / Scandinavian

Each great actor/actress has one breakout role and one role-of-a-lifetime. Margot’s was The wolf of wall street and then Barbie.
