- A cinematic film of the Battle of Azanulbizar; an actual battle from The Lord of The Rings books. It is year 2799 of the Third Age. A large army of Gundabad Orcs march out of the Eastern Gate of Moria, where they meet the armies of King Thrain II and the Dwarven Fathers. A brutal battle is fought, and Dain II Ironfoot arrives late with reinforcements from the Iron Hills. The Battle of Azanulbizar is the greatest battle fought between Dwarves and Orcs; Orcs still shudder and the Dwarves still weep at the memories of it.

I've tried to make the cinematic battle as accurate as possible in terms of how it is told in the books. Keep in mind that I have to stay within the frameworks of the game, which makes the storytellling more challenging.

The War of Dwarves and Orcs wasn’t about reclaiming Khazadum, it was a war of retaliation for the insult of Azog’s killing of Thror.
Thrain II actually wanted to reclaim the mountains, but as they won the battle of Azanulzibar none of the other Dwarven Fathers wanted to follow him. But yeah, retailation was the reason as to why the other Dwarves showed up haha
Didn’t Dain try and pursue the orcs but caught sight of Durins Bain and immediately backed off?
@@jruth77 yes he did Dain killed Azog and saw Durins Bane inside of Moria and told Thrain to not move into the mountain

Does anyone have a glitch in which the pikeman and swordsman for the iron hill dwarves don't show up just their weapons and shields? I was wonderinf if maybe my mod is out of order or I need another mod to make it work??

Very hard to write an engaging script for 10 minutes.

There's about as much of Tolkein in this as in that muck. The War had lasted for seven years at this point, Nain led the Dwarfs of the Iron Hills (he was killed in single combat with Azog, and Dain avenged him). The battlefield was hemmed in by the Misty Mountains on two sides, remember?
Oh, and where is the moment when a group of Dwarves are forced into a wood, where Thorin loses his shield, and hews off an oak-branch to gain his by-name?
You can make all the content you want, but please don't drag LOTR through the mud again.🤬🤬🤬
Bro, I have to make videos within the frames of the game. I know the whole story of the battle of Azanulzibar, you don't need to show off your knowledge on here. You see, making an exact video of stories with this game is literally impossible. I have to operate within the frameworks of the game and can only film certain things. My videos are for entertainment and definitely not canon - yet I try, in some of them, to have a touch of lore because people like it. Don't watch my channel if you want something canon, go read Tolkiens books or watch the Nerd of the Rings on TH-cam.

More realistic, life like. I can only suggest you view the channel kings and generals to get a bench mark. Too much focus on the cinematic battles of dry and unrealistic moving characters, provide maps, that show movements of troops, impact on the local area. Hope that works from a layman perspective.
@@dragotarrasch Recent videos have a more realistic with a submod and blood dlc. The battle is cinematic, so the main focus will be on fighting and what occurs on the battlefield. I already spend 10+ hours on each video, and with 2 videos being uploaded every week, I can't really prioritize spending more time per video. Thanks for tips tho! And what do you mean by maps?
Ohh and that channel Kings and generals is a completely different channel than this one though. I don't aim to make content like his haha. Maybe I'll look into his videos and see if I can find inspiration, but his content something completely different
