I'm not sure what you mean..on an earlier video concerning this project i showcased the quick release buckles, how they were stitched at the ends and needed to use a seam ripper to undo the stitching. I then had them stitched in a loop just like for ALICE pack straps.
@@thatpackguy the thing is that mines are not even holding the weight anymore, when i load the backpack they go down to my hips, kinda hard to get a new pair here in mexico,we dont have surplus stores, you have to buy a whole new pack just to get the straps
@@ContraIsBased i feel your pain..i don't have army surplus stores anywhere near me either, but ebay is your best bet in this case. It sounds like the fabric is worn out and when you go to synch it it slides back down..?
@@thatpackguy yes, they are pretty much useless, ebay is good but the shipping price sometimes is double the price of the product so i dont really feel like buying from there,i'll see if i can fix them, thanks for the reply, greetings
@@ContraIsBased consider stitching the straps in place once you've fitted the pack, or if you can make a video showcasing the issue, as you said in another episode no one talks about these issues enough, and that's what youtube is for, so we can pool some ideas together :)
Good presentation
is the bag comfortable with the alice frame?
Yes, as long as you have the right suspension system
I wondered the same
can you do a video on how to repair the alice pack lower quick release buckles bro?
