    I'd like to hear the story of how she went from being told that she had 60 days to live and had tentacles of cancer growing into her heart, to what sounds like into remission. Her testimony about what she did, her mindset, what she thinks from her standpoint was the point that it turned around, is a very compelling story we'd love to hear.

    I fell from a ladder in 2016. Docs called it a "massive rotator cuff tear". As you know a shoulder rehab can be difficult. I used a devastating knee injury to my favorite college football player at the time, Nick Chubb, as inspiration to fight hard, work through it and get back as quickly as possible. You guys are inspirational as well. Keep going! And keep building fantastic rifles. I love mine.

    We live in Ogden UT for a couple years back n the mid 70s. I never got to hunt. I was 15 & had to be 16 to hunt. During the hunting season we were there I heard of 4 lowlanders as they called them died of heart attacks while hunting. I never was able to make it back for my dream elk hunt. Have been in Louisiana since e left there. Under 300' elevation. Guess that makes me a lowlander. Now retired from power co climbing poles & have 2 new hips & new shoulder. Running is out so I need to do a lot of walking & weights if I get the opportunity to go. I'm glad I saw this video.

    I like it Scott and Vicky. Hold what you got! And I never heard Miss Vicky's story. What an inspiration and I think God for you both! I stay physically fit. I'm 52 and I am used to hunting at 6500 ft of elevation. When I take guys that are out of shape, it's always the same. Stopping every 100 yds to catch a breath that never comes for them. And when they do see a good buck, rather than taking a shot they're taking a breath. Heart pounding in their ears and chest, they can't stabilize the rifle to pull off a kill shot. It's tough but you have to be acclimated to that kind of hunting. I take them to New York mountain in the desert of California for the best muleys California has to offer.

      Dear Sir - Squats suck, benches blow and dead-lifts bite - but the big bulls live in bad country - so, hi ho, hi ho, off to the gym we go. Thanks.

    Ran a 5:01 mile at 6’4” and 191 lbs. tried forever to break 5 minutes. I’m 50 now and can’t run much at this point.
    I have done several elk hunts and a couple sheep hunts. I agree with you that persistence, fitness and being able to shoot are most important for success, probably in that order.

      Dear Sir - running "the mile" is a sadistic, experiment in Pain! Watch the old movie "Without Limits" - the Steve Prefontaine story. Some people are just BETTER. Thanks.

    As a machinist I'm interested in seeing more or talking about more of the process and the why. In previous videos you have talked about cutting the major Dia. Until the muzzle brake goes on with no play. However it sounds like on the receiver end you cut the major Dia. a few thousand small and then cut the pitch dia. until it just fits having just the slightest amount of clearance in the "v" of the thread.

    • @quarterminutemagnums
      @quarterminutemagnums  ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Sir - The "why" for everything is so all the bullets go through one hole. The "process" came from trial/error and observable results.Thanks.
