You are super talented and the best out there. The call and response being in sequences of two is something no other tutorial or article has explained and is a game changer. Amazing work
Out of the probably 50+ melody focused videos I've seen, this one easily takes the crown. Great advice on bass dominance vs melody dominance and call and response. Completely opened up my mind to simplifying my productions.
I always like to watch some tutorials on a Friday and come across your channel, I've over half a million streams, I've ghost produced for the last few years but I'm starting a new project and switching things up a bit but the time it took me to learn what you've put in this video for others took me a very long time so it's good to see videos like this as I know so many will learn from it and that can only mean more music which is brilliant, keep up the good videos.
dude thank you so much. as someone where percussion and basslines seems to come more natural i struggle trying to make a melody from scratch. this helps so much.
Ooooooh, LOVE this! I'm all in, brother, sub'd, liked, and notifications on! Restarting after a rather long 27 year break from production. Sold all my original gear, Atari ST (yep, I'm that un-young!) Korg M1, Novation Bass Station Rack, Alesis D4 Drum Machine Rack, Akai MG 614 multitrack, and various other pieces of fun. Alas, got caught in the post rave hedonist trap and addiction, jail, etc, etc, etc. However, been living the good life for 10 years now, moved away from the Midlands to Cornwall with my beautiful family, and started putting the (one man) band back together! Got some new decks, Stanton STR8 150s, a Traktor S4 controller, Arturia KeyLab Essential 64, Maschine Micro mk2, and some stunning sounding Mackie MR6 mk3s. Life, she is good. 🤍 Ableton is poised to make they House beats what groove and soothe with smooth! 😎 Let's go, give me all you got. Looking forwards to our journey together, brother.
Just incredible mate!!!...utterly useful!!!.....what plugin did You use to "Synth1"?...Its so delicate but amazing!!.....the final track is absolutely "PIV records"
please stop the zoom in and zoom out , less is more, make it simple . your content in gold, you don't need all the superficial dramatic effect and hand movement .
Hey! The zoom effect is used to help with engagement mate. Most peoples attention span is really short so it can help to keep someone engaged in the content thats why I use it. Maybe I'll tone it down a little next time. As for the hand movement, thats just me i'm afraid. I'm someone that talks with their hands, there is no dramatic effect just plain old Kimba. Apologies if It's annoying :)
@@KimbasAcademyyou can't win mate. People are always asking me to zoom in so they can see the detail, meanwhile people over here asking you not to 😂 And as far the hand movements, I hope old mate here doesn't find my channel or he's going to think I'm having a seizure 😅
