The green belt on my bike snapped in half. Instead of going through the hassle of removing everything, can I somehow just soder/melt the belt back together?
I will make one next time I have to do it...however tip bike on side so that chipset or lower computer board is facing up. remove the cover for the chipper lower comp board. then disconnect wire running up into frame. tip bike back upwards. now remove user right triangle plastic cover that covers brake assembly. find where wire comes out of frame and is secured with plastic zip tie. cut the zip tie. disconnect Cble from console. with electrical tape, tape new cable end that hooks into the lower board to the old bad cable end that goes into console. be sure to tape it good. now pull on old cable by brake assembly hile pushing new cable through top of handlebar and down towards brake assembly. then go down to lower board and pull old cable while fishing new cable through frame. replace zip tie and make sure cable isn't in the way of handle bar assbly going up and down
I think thats its very hard work for the green belt...it should have been easier way :( You are great !!!
Thank you very much!!!!
