Nice review. I own a 2018 Goldwing DCT Tour and it's the best bike I've ever owned, by a wide margin. Its comfy on the highway, its at home on lazy back roads, it can carve turns with ease, and its full of really useful features. I'm riding now more than ever since I bought my Wing!
This definitely needs to be in the garage. I've ridden and owned all types of bikes, (also currently ride a monkey) but this DCT version looks great. I'm 31, but basically a grandpa. Keep the manual bikes for when you wanna throw down, and this one for when you want to cruise and just check out the surroundings. That's one thing I absolutely love about, dare I say it, scooters.
i have the 2019 dct bagger. the nuclear button that you hit is there to allow air in behind the windscreen to break the vacuum behind it when the windscreen is up.
Based on the current used prices of the F6B I'm hoping to be able to afford a used one with about 10k miles on it in a few years. Maybe someday when I am that old man I can afford one new but I'm eying one in the next few years just like that one, manual or dct.
Yea I’m digging, all blacked out gold wing it looks dope I think I want one over the rebel 1100 now especially after I found that cobra six straight pipe exhaust
Currently own a Yamaha FJR and considering a straight tourer as opposed to the Yamaha which is a sport tourer. I really like this bike but would have preferred a manual. Curious decision by Honda. Thanks for a great, entertaining session with the Goldwing DCT.
Does Honda still call this the F6B?. Also you mentioned $25k for that bike. Looks like you get a lot of bike for that amount of money. Take that same amount of money to a Harley or Indian dealer and see how much bike it gets you.
love the look & ride of the new goldwing but it would be really nice if Honda corp (or any motorcycle company) offered something similar in the 900 - 1000cc range.
I tottaly dig this bike I'm 33 and sometimes a super sport bike gets you tiered and yes Harleys do over heat alot and feel the hot in the legs I ride a zxr6 and let me tell you after riding a few I feel the heat specially during summer... this bike looks super chill and futuristic
For the past 4 weeks I have been wondering what it would be like to sit on this thing as it seemed to huge on all the youtube films. Well I have been driving a Maxsym 600i for the past years and have perhaps been getting used to the size but sitting on the Glodwing disapointed me when it comes to it's size. I did not get a chance to drive it and I am sure it's all that people say on the many films you get to see. I know I don't need it and explaining to my wife why this beauty will cost more than twice the price that our brand new Skoda Fabia cost will be masterpice in talking. Ferdinand Porsche once said "He makes cars that nobody realy needs, but everyone wants." Well true to this beauty. Is there anyone out there who can dissuade me from buying this thing by saying at least one negative thing about this bike apart from the price. It would help beating my emotional side. Thanks
Honda claims: Peak horsepower of 125 arrives @ 5,500rpm, with peak torque of 125 lb/ft delivered @ 4,500rpm. CYCLEWORLD claims: Peak horsepower of 97.85 at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 108.41 pound-feet at 1,210 rpm.
Hahaha....goldwing and a monkey bike next to each other. Love it. The windscreen had large pillars Iike the modern cars A pillar. Rather off putting. Mr. police occifer.....lol
I'm sold. Time to sell the Corvette, sell the KTM, and buy me a Wing!

Never try to sing if you can't it cheapens you video quality only my 2 cents ofc
In sport mode this bike flys for a bike with such a big back porch. Bike looks great too.
i have the 2019 dct bagger. the nuclear button that you hit is there to allow air in behind the windscreen to break the vacuum behind it when the windscreen is up.
"look at that kid taking out daddy's goldwing"
uhh, no, theyre all like, "holy shit, wtf is that beautiful fucking thing?"
I don't think "Daddy Doug" would sue you.
We need a Doug DeMuro of the motorcycle world.
Dude, you didn’t put in Sport mode. Got to go back and give that a try.
Terry Hodapp that’s my bad. I put it into sport when i pulled it outside but didn’t realize it defaults back to tour mode
Yup sport mode definitely wakes the thing up 😂
i own one and when you put it in sports mode youd better watch it turns into a damn beast!
Yeah putting it in sport mode turns it into a unicycle 😂
Loving the first rides!! keep them up dude!
Thanks man!
that thing is GORGEOUS!!!!!!
YES YES😀
"oh damn ignore that voice crack"
me: *goes back and watches it 5 more times*
Why is the windscreen installed upside-down? Lol
The nuclear button got me rolling hahaha
I test rode this a while back. I was cool. If I had a longer commute, then I might consider adding it to my fleet.

Great vidéo, do you have a crue of the windshield brandy doesn’t look like the usual Honda one?
It has the shorter variant of the Honda wind screen. The gold wings without the big storage box on the back typically have shorter ones
Thank you for the review on Cherokee County roads. Living in Texas from Kennesaw and miss home. Love the bike. Stay safe!!!
Whoa, that's a GORGEOUS machine.
Great review. Trading up in a few years from an ‘04 1150RT.
Yea I’m digging, all blacked out gold wing it looks dope I think I want one over the rebel 1100 now especially after I found that cobra six straight pipe exhaust
As far as yound riders are concerned, honestly I prefer this bike rather than a tracer or gsxs. Dude this bike is gorgeous

Harley is doing a good job of pricing themselves out of business ....Lol
I’m 48 and I’d buy the auto gold wing. I’ve had a few more then a few back surgeries and I’m wondering how’s the ride feel?
we have young bikers and “old” ones, but these old ones feel young too 😁 Thanks to the Honda, the body can catch up and enjoy the ride.
The wind shield got me dead
Tutorial on shifting...I'm new...please
Good review and fun I like your commentary
I am a 63 year old man < thanks for the good job!
25k is still half the price of a comparable Harley
love the look & ride of the new goldwing but it would be really nice if Honda corp (or any motorcycle company) offered something similar in the 900 - 1000cc range.
a99miata nc750x or the African twin

25000 is cheap try 40000 for a Harley that wont last half as long as that honda
I got my 2018 with 100 miles new for 18k lol
Oh my god vintage bobby you must be so lucky to have that bike thats your bike
Try riding the ctx700 with the DCT in sport mode and you will really like the automatic

Thanks
so this is fully automatic? just throttle and brake basically? im new to motorcycles lol
Correct :)
what a nice paintscheme!!! matt blacked-out and red trims.
It's all plastic, not paint !
Try 125 Horse power
To the wheel tho
I own a 1980 GL1100 and I love that bike, but I would trade it in a heartbeat for this sexy beast....
125 H.P not 95 !!!
95 HP is at the wheel (what it does while actually riding on the street while pushing weight and running accessories and lights etc.)
Old man's bike? I'm 53 & feeling kinda goldwingish, i could get used to owning one of these
Whats the top speed
Restricted to 112 mph
“Bible & pistol”
Good ol’ southern joke.. I like it 😂
Cause that is dog on true .
I'm 34. I want one. My back was killing me after a 1000 mi round trip on a cbr600rr.
Never again.
Oh man thats one insane trip for that kind of bike, respect tho :)

Companies give crank figures, cycle world gives wheel figures. Both can be correct at the same time.
@@JesseeS1990 yes i know but thank you
Where Am I supposed to hang my crucifix though?
On the mirrors.
i can't wait to be old enough to justify buying this generation of Goldwing... and by then it'll be on the used market and i can afford it hahaha
man i was watching the video and realized that i know that area. I used to go to a game store on the left called dragons eye.
Looks like a Judge Dred's bike.....
Effin $30,000.00 flat6 scooter, i love it
95 HP ? my 2014 F6C Valkyrie has 125HP and it's the smaller 1832cc
That 125HP is not at the wheel
@@busterbrown1686 it sure was on mine, i had it Dyno tuned and got 125HP and 125 Ft Lbs Torque and a 0-60 time of 3.1 sec

Hello there mr. police ociffer 😅
07:32
cool video man. thanks!
They just don’t sell it and wondering why.
great bike, but i am stunned and disappointed that it doesn't come with floorboards. once you go floorboard, you NEVER go back to uncomfortable pegs
New Balance needs to start making riding boots 😄
It feels like jetski on road
If that isn’t the most accurate description I don’t know what is lol
Dope
If you're tall with long legs you can forget fitting on a GW. Just stay with the Africa Twin.
Love to ride that across Canada but damn if it’s $25,000 US it would be $30+ up here :/ nevertheless I like the review only make em longer lol ✌🏻🇨🇦
You made me hate my Honda Fury!!
I’d buy one but it’s ridiculous that the kick start lever option is over $300; I’m out.
Funny commentary. 😂
Just buy one
