I'm new to this game, why the crosshair is off? Isn't that make it harder to aim?
Pharah is so fun now. Wish you could cancel her ult though. it lasts so long that I die most times I use it... orz
honestly that would be a easy fix! for her as in a buff too! just make it so you can cancel that ult, it would make her so much better!

or make her move a little like the april fool patch

I love how this patch they tried to make pharah less reliant on mercy but now you need her more than ever

You can’t play her the same way. You have to use cover and she’s more of a dive character now. Way less reliant on a mercy.
honestly that's how I feel! lots of people say that you don't need a mercy but to be as useful as before on her you definitely need a pocket, in high ranking games at least, because you'll get focused so hard it'll be hard for you to do anything
I have 500hrs on Pharah and I can tell you they absolutely succeeded in what they set out to do. They made her optimal solo playstyle better, and The New DPS passive combined with her Jet Fuel nerfs makes the Pharmercy combo just a bit harder to consistently get value from. But Mercy is still her Best Support combo obvi

They need to make it so you can cancel your ult with pharah, so you flank and ult the zen for example then instantly cancel the ult and go back to cover. instead of being stuck in that animation and getting killed from across the map. 10:14 is exactly what I mean...... its just a suicide bomber ult which is bad game design imo...

I’ve been shooting my concussion with my 2nd rocket because if all are direct hit it kills most heros other than tanks
I wish her ult was a “transformation” ult like roadhog. For 8 seconds She glows and all making her more visible but can rapid fire her rockets when holding primary fire and still fly around. Keep the damage the same as it is so it won’t be OP.
honestly that does sound like a cool idea!
since rockets do less self damage try your boost with rocket below. It pretty much gets you the same height as before the patch.

they could allow her to have a certain level of movement while ulting giving you at least some ability to dodge attacks… at least youre not as much a sitting duck then… and yeah i think all hero’s that have any kind of channeling abilities should always have an option to end/cancel that ability whenever they want to.

From what it seems like, she’s a bit like a doe df style flanker to use 1-2 abilities to engage for a quick elim and use that last one to get out

I played Pharah a bit in OW1 and a bit in 2, but I never really settled on her, but now I really like her rework.
Do you have advice on how to deal with Dva and Echo as her? Those two seem to be a pain sometimes
Avoid echo at all costs, make sure you’re saving abilities for her. I’ve also had some success luring her into rooms to make rockets easier.
Save cooldowns for dva as well, and try to wait out matrix or demech before you ult. If you like gambling, you can pop barrage on a dva right after she drops matrix, it’ll get the kill about 50% of the time.

They should change the name from, 'barage' to 'kamikaze'
That would make so much more sense
imo barrage is best used against the tank to insta kill them, giving your team the opportunity to clean up the rest of them
true but you get focused so hard, once I focus a tank with her ult, I literally get turned on by the entire enemy team lool
I’ve been melting with my ult personally, I just pick the best time for me to use it! Ofc not all the time it works but for the most part I thought her ult damage has been way better. I also don’t die as much when I ult
ahh alright, different experiences, I wish I could get those experiences with her ult lol, every time I use it it's like the whole team focuses me hard it's insane

I love the rework I’ve been a pharah main since early ow1 and I have 65% win rate
I personally think that pharah should have fuel regen while in air.
In a way, without a pocket...She feels clunky
So her primary is the direct hit now

I think the only thing she needs now is a way to fall down quicker (Like Ball's slam) and a reworked ultimate.
Concussion blast has done impact damage since OW2 launched, it just has explosion damage now
Does nobody know concussive blast used to do 10 dmg on direct hit?
It did 40, and that was an OW2 change. nut yeah no one seems to remember
I rarely played pharah back then, so honestly I wouldn't have known until now since I saw the new patch notes lol, always been a tracer,genji hitscan player, that's on me for no looking into it that much, feel like I never felt it at the launch of ow2 tho lol

Really disheartening to hear you basically have to play Ground Pharah now. It was fun when it was an option but when they've gutted flight like they have now it's so sad. You end up just being Junkrat with a way worse ultimate.
I'll still be playing her because she's the only hero I find fun but it sucks that her flying playstyle which made her unique got so changed.
Good video though, learned a lot about reworked Pharah. I'll try using her Shift/E/RMB just to traverse the map and get high ground but while staying behind cover and just rocketing tanks I guess. Sprinkle in the occasional flank.
I miss when pharahs actually average between 80-120 directs per game back in 2016-2018 along with the actual good players back then hitting somewhat tricky airshots among other things.
Now in 2024 we got bots like yznsa boosting and wintrading to the top while NEVER hitting any more difficult shots on demand + everyone making their comp around him just to cheese wins.
The hitbox update that made them even BIGGER is not helping skillwise 😑
im having so much fun with pharah RN, what is your % of accuracy, i'm hovering within 65 and 75% and focusing on squishes or fat tanks
