It came out pretty! 🖤👻🕷👻🕷👻🖤 Materials tip: For better structural support cotton yarn or CORD would hold without overstretching. It's stretching under the weight because it seems to be acrylic or wool yarn which are stretchier than cotton.
That was so cute and a fun-filled idea❣️I love your lighting. This is how we learn along the way. I have many creations that are experiments where I’ve had to make adjustments. I just set them aside and eventually will get back to them when I am refreshed. One of the reasons that I enjoy designing is to discover different ways of creating my pieces. Mostly, I have fun, even if the designs are not perfected. It’s all part of exploring the possibilities, right? That is what you have done with this festive garland creation. 👍 ❤️🕷❤️👻❤️
That is so true. Making mistakes makes me grow so much. And, also, it's fun to learn from them. I love your positive thinking, as always! Thank you so much for watching and sharing your vision. You're such a great artist! 🎃🧡
This is so cute!!! I really like this! I have a whole bin of Halloween pom poms, I never knew what to do with them, lol. I never thought of a banner, that's a wonderful idea! I love the ghost and spiders too, they turned out great. I really love the idea of using them as ornaments for my Halloween tree, those would look so nice with some beads or glitter on them as well, or even painting over the yarn after it's dry. Thanks for these awesome ideas! And wow, I'm now all caught up in watching your videos, this was the last one to catch me up to date!!! LOL, I'm looking forward to your next one, I have notifications turned on! 😄
Thanks! I had so many challenges with this garland... Lol! I cannot believe it's still holding to this day. It's stronger than I expected. Wow! I didn't think about using paint over the yarn, but that is a very good idea. I will have to try that, one day. I love your creativity. Haha! Yes! You are amazing! I don't think anyone looked at ALL my videos, before you. It touches me. Thanks.
It's very cute. I the way it turned out. If I was going to make one I think for my hanging elements I would do it on some wire from the dollar store. This way you don't have to worry about the weight and you don't have to worry about your ornaments flipping around to look at the wall. Of course, since you don't like spiders, maybe sometimes that's good. 😂
Thanks! Yes, I also think it's pretty cute! But it's not the project I had the most fun with... Plus, I started my video by saying "Don't do that..." Lol And... the garland it still holding strong! I guess I was overthinking. I love that the strings can move a little bit. I just wish I made ornaments that looked good from every angle.
Super cute! I think that an easy way to hide the hot glue blobs at the attachment would be to glue some ribbon over top of them - I'm thinking a darker color like black would be the most effective. Maybe if the ghosts and spiders were smaller it would hold up a little better? I'm working on revamping my shelf and this has definitely given me ideas.
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it. When I do a crafting, I mostly want to inspire people. So, I'm glad to know that this video inspired you! Plus, I love that idea! Using a black ribbon would be perfect. 🕸️ Thanks for watching and sharing your ideas. 🧡
