From India... Gonna plant this one today.... Interesting fact: after eating this plant, if you drink water, the water tastes sweet 😍 We even have a proverb that goes along the lines of " Elder's advice and this fruit will taste sour first but sweet finally" ❤❤❤
Since I met you, you have saved me so much money. I was suckered into needing this and that and this and that. No more, they do not get my money anymore.
Best video I found on what I think I have is an amla. I say think because I had a random sprouting in my first planter last October and it wasn't anything I plants- it popped up in a compost bin I made- and it first looked (I have no green thumb) to me like a fern or something. So I moved it to my onion bed and it just stayed small- survived the weird FL winter- and then it got buried in dirt during a move. And a few months ago this thing just bolted and now it's just flourishing and clearly not a fern 😂 my dad's search brought us to the amla tree. So my next goal is to find it some ground in its future (I'm in a temp spot) so it can live it's best life!
I need to setup my drip irrigation at my new place. I'll plant one and make a how to vid. Until then, keep it wet, cold hardy to 19f, frost protection, extremely slow grower in non-tropical areas. Oh, also it has one of the shallowest root systems out of all plants I have.
Let the haters Hate! I take your tips and my stuff is growing great!!

Love from India
That plant looks like it’s a member of the mimosa tree family, of which I have a mature one I planted over 30 years ago.
Thank you. Good info. Please give us some tips on growing Jaboticaba. Thank you.

Okay 👍
Haters are my motivator to do better
Haters are 10 lbs of worm castings stuffed into a 5 lb fish emulsion bag.
🤣🤣🤣 did you know worm castings you buy are not 100% poop? Most of it is actually decomposed stuff they fed the worms!!!
sad sad sad, the number one plant I want to grow for the fruit is heat and lots of sun dependent and I am in cool climate/mostly overcast
