i thought about it and i know we discussed it with our fellow soapers and couldnt figure out what to do and im actually thinking to use the powder just like we use our clays and see what happens and use more powder in your oil infusion . dont give up on it❤
Blue Spirulina powder, as gorgeous as it looks, and pricier than the green spirulina too, generally does not do well in soap regarding holding that colour. It’s quite well known. But a brilliant well done for experimenting. The best place to make use of the rest of the blue powder you have left is to make BATH BOMBS with it, add it to your baking soda and other dry ingredients. It colours the bath bomb really well, and is unchallenged by the strong nature of soap lye solution. 🌻
Yes that’s correct I usually do that as well but I thought with how vibrant this color was I would be alright doing 2 large tbsp. Guess I was wrong. I probably won’t try it again though.
Awwwwww man! I see grey as well!🥺 I was HOPING for blue!😫
I know right. I was so disappointed. Guess I’ll try the clay next lol.
Great video and the soap looks great!
Thank you 🩷

Thank you very much for this information 🩷.
You’re welcome. 🙏🏾
I still think it's pretty
Thank you 🩷
Have you tried adding the powder during trace?
I haven’t it…. I seen someone else add it at trace and it turned grey the next day.
What about using Indigo powder?
Yes a bunch of times lol. I’ve gotten blue with indigo just wanted to try new things.
Maybe more spirilina. With most of my infusions I do 2 tbls of powder to 4 oz oil.
Maybe someone else knows.
