I did kind of the same but cut less lugs on the rear tires with some existing asymmetrical patterns in mind. This way the front conforms and the rear conforms and holds a bit more. Best of both worlds

The first thing I noticed about those TRX tires on my truck was that they suck. I took off some worn out copies of hyrax treads and they kicked ass. Ha ha. They need to fire that tire designer. Ha

I did that to mine but just Center lugs on my trx4 spot I think it make a huge difference 👍
I am very happy with it so far. I think the shoulder lugs was also a good move. Time will tell!

Traxxas Trx4 tires, there just good all the way round, For RTR, For shore, 👍🌞

For the Mercedes TRX6, I am not sure if I would cut that tire. If I did, it would be part of that center plug to allow more room.
You really one expected to do a whole lot different would just a tiny bit of rubber removed but it seems to make a difference

They really don't! I have put them head-to-head versus many other tires...and they have always done very well. These tires are under rated!
