I am loving these videos! One of my top travel tips is to bring a padded, self addressed, stamped envelope with you through airport security. In case rules were changed overnight etc and they need to take something from you, you can either mail it home or onto your destination, so you won't lose it forever. You can mail from most airports!
FINALLLY someone did a prepping video on EDC for a woman! I've been just figuring out my edc (essentially my purse) on my own by extrapolating from the guy stuff.
God, she is GORGEOUS.... I wish my wife was half as interested in EDC. The stuff I buy her usually ends up lost in the bottom of a drawer somewhere and she never has it when she needs it.
The spike is called a marlin spike. It has been used in historical nautical rigging and is very useful any time you are using cordage. I find that a sharp marlin spike is good to undo fishing line tangles.
Dude, Tactical Temptress is packing heat! That knife makes mine look like a nail file! I need to step it up! And I'm going to use this guide to set my wife's purse up. Thanks again!
Not just enjoying... HOOKED! :-) Once i make my way through them i have a very strong feeling that i'll be watching them again & again to glean every bit of insight that i can. The greatest appeal to me is your focus on urban (read: practical) prepping &, imho, disaster prep which is much more likely an event to require proper prepping. You prep for storms/earthquakes/volcanoes and i'll prep for tornadoes (and the tribulation) and we can help each other. I LOVE this community!!! :-D
Geez, what a charming woman. Cool how you're creating order out of chaos like this. Does she have a CHL? Getting one in Washington state is so easy. Just go down to the court house, they take your finger prints and check your records (cost me around 50 bucks) Then your license arrives a couple weeks later. No class needed (even though I took one anyway). The coolest thing is that from then on you can buy whatever handgun you want, with no waiting period.
TT is BRILLIANT! Notice how she immediately comments on how light the Case Knife is... EDC's SHOULD be light. If not, you end up with broken purses. :o) As for Nanostream: use some Teflon tape to keep the lens screwed on, otherwise it will come apart in the purse after a while. Trust me. LOL! Also, Nanostreams are nice, but use inconvenient batteries. I still love me some Fenix E05 for the utility ring. Great vid and great seeing BP and TT together!
5:03 - was the best part. You're a funny one, TacticalTemptress! 6:06 - TWSS! What goodies are you gonna get me for my purse, Cliff? I need a new EDC :)
@tendollarword I love mine. I've had it since February/March and have yet to change the batteries on it. It is so small, but comes in really handy when you may not have your larger flashlight on you. Plus, it's extremely bright! The batteries are expensive to replace, but as long as you use it as a backup light they should last a long time for you.
@stschmalhaus Yes, it's true. The travel arrangements have already been made. A video will be shot within the next week (when TT comes back from her trip). I am really excited to meet him!
@JustInCase308 Yes, that's the drawback I have with them too. Maybe I could make a separate video with TT trying different model whistles? Might be fun. I do have a spare Fox 40 if need be. Thanks for the comment.
LOL @ her knife choice! I guess our concerns about a "low profile knife for her workplace" were ungrounded. No comment on her nails with the case knife either. Still: her own knife did have a spyderco/byrd opening ;-)
Hey, what is in the little first aid kit because i've been looking to make a first aid kit that size but i don't know what to put on it. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what is in it.
@Dronston I'll ask her when she gets back to see if the long nails will prove to be a problem with the Case. Her knife cracked me up when I saw it. I thought I had her needs completely figured out. I guess I was wrong. :)
@101lildavid Yes. I can work on that. Or, I could send you a list of the items that I included. I made up a few of the a while back to use in various kits. Buying the medical gear in bulks helps enable you to make multiple kits for various needs.
Great stuff! Wonderful idea with the wrap-around purse organizer. But...YIKES!!! Please TUP, teach TT to _confidently_ open and close those knives! Like an animal, if you show fear to the knife, it WILL bite you! She's so sweet, I'd hate to see here get hurt and turned off of knives because of a bad accident. Knife safety is just as important as gun safety, but much more overlooked! Great vid! Keep 'em coming!!!
@TheUrbanPrepper It's an unfortunate fact of life that it's often cheaper to buy a new Nano than try to replace the batteries. Not environmentally friendly!
The big knife is a nautical knife, fit to cut kevlar ropes and as she said, the pick is to undo knots. I used to carry a smaller one on board, no use for it earthside.
@mrmonkeyman50 I was going to get her the E05 (I know you like that one), but I wanted that for myself. Greedy, I know. Plus, I don't think it comes in pink, does it? I've never had my Nano come apart like that, although I can see how that may happen. TT is a "one take" TH-cam video actress. It takes me MULTIPLE takes to spit out my words semi-correctly. Thank God for video editing. BTW, TT is BP's godmother, so they have a very close relationship.

Tazzy5 GREAT recommendation! I'll need to do that the next time I travel.
Great tip! Thank you for sharing this.

Love the stream light flashlights, always give them as gifts. Simple to use and good value.
Aww, baby prepper is the cutest. I loved the pink gear that you gave to Tactical Temptress.

Wish my hubby would do this for me! But I may do some stocking stuffers for him, thanks for the ideas:)

What a SWEET family! No WONDER you got into prepping!
Tactical temptress is cute 😍

Thank you for all of your recent comments! I am glad you have been enjoying my videos and offering your insight. TT is an expert knife fighter. :)

What goodies are you gonna get me for my purse, Cliff? I need a new EDC :)
Awesome video been waiting a while for that one will be looking forward to part 2
i know it's an old video... but thank you for this. My girlfriend needed something to relate more to.
2. So are you paying back for that awesome sailboat ride with all this cool EDC stuff?
Not a problem. Others have been confused about that too.

Wait, wait, wait... MMM50 wants to leave his hiding and meet TacticalTemptress?! Are you kidding?
Tactical Temptress needs to show up more!
@JustInCase308 Yes, that's the drawback I have with them too. Maybe I could make a separate video with TT trying different model whistles? Might be fun. I do have a spare Fox 40 if need be. Thanks for the comment.
BTW, I totally LOL'd at this & probably got quite a few quizzical looks from my coworkers, but it was worth it! Thanks! :)
Excellent!! I am so looking forward to video 2!! By the way I HEART my leatherman juice Cs4!!
LOL @ her knife choice! I guess our concerns about a "low profile knife for her workplace" were ungrounded. No comment on her nails with the case knife either. Still: her own knife did have a spyderco/byrd opening ;-)
@FranTherTNP I will be making a video on that little medical kit next week. I make them in bulk and have them in various kits. I'm glad you like it!
@JustInCase308 Do you mean not carrying one or carrying a different model?
Tactical Temptress is a hottie! You need to stack more weapons to defend her from all the bad guys in suburbia.
Myerchin knives are more specialized for mariners. That's why it has a marlon spike for rope work.

The big knife is a sailors knife, you´ll find it in my backpack, what do you need it in the city?

I'm working on BP's EDC video. I need to finish my Urban BOB first though. :)
This is exactly why guys don't mess with purses, even when asked to get something from them.
@TheUrbanPrepper It's an unfortunate fact of life that it's often cheaper to buy a new Nano than try to replace the batteries. Not environmentally friendly!
Now you habe a problem :) what for christmas? ;) nice video!

A Kershaw skyline in pink would be nice !
@TheUrbanPrepper I guess he is more excited to meet TacticalTemptress. LOL
