Does this happen to work for the delta 5 PRO as well? I am curious if i shot out my barrel how easy it would be to replace or if i wanted to use a different barrel like a proof research in the future.
Do you guys sell the 1/2" barrel nut for the Delta 5 or do I HAVE to buy another barrel to get the tool? it's not listed on your site. I own a delta 5 and bought another barrel used but the guy didnt give me the barrel nut wrench.
While I appreciate Daniel Defence sending me out a free barrel nut tool at no cost, the tool is ablosute garbage. The tool completely bends at 40 ft lbs and mares up the barrel nut. There is no way for me to torque it to the specified ft lb. Will you be proving a better barrel nut wrench or do you know somewhere where I can actually buy a quality one because I can’t shoot this gun unless I know it’s torqued to spec

@@DanielDefense I just reached out and they’re sending me another wrench and nut. I guess this is a somewhat common problem for the tool to bend as the support tech himself had the same issue . For how easy you advertise swapping the barrel I’ll tell you it is far from the truth. I’d look into using quality metal or a different tool manufacturer. If I was swapping a barrel out before a a match or even a few weeks before a match I’d be SOL right now
It seems like a nice design but definitely not something you can do quickly in the field like LMT’s MWS that allows you to do a barrel/caliber swap and return to zero in seconds

Will you release more barrels any time soon? I would love a Delta 5 but Ohio law only allows hunting with straight walled cartridges.

I believe it's the same...the pro just has the chassis.
@@cstism what about chassis. Lets say i got a different chassis. Can i take the daniel barrel and action from my pro and drop it in something else?

What should be the torque on both screws under the stock once reassembling the rifle?
Shouldn’t you be applying your torque wrench 90 degrees to the barrel nut wrench or is your given torque accounting for the additional torque?

Agreed! Mine bent on the removal of the barrel nut for a barrel swap.
Where are the rifles? Since you guys fixed the ejector people are lining up to buy the rifle.
What ejector problem? I only knew about the firing pin thing.
TFW the “engineer” uses the torque limiter in reverse to loosen. *sigh*
