According to Sheldon in TBBT when he was a teenager he knocked on his parents door and heard his father and a woman that wasn't his mother and that's why he always knocked three times on doors. In Young Sheldon they changed it to Mary playing a Viking woman for George but Sheldon had an eidetic memory so he would know his mother's voice perfectly. It was ridiculous how they changed things from TBBT simply to make Young Sheldon fans happy.
There’s 2x in my life that I think abt that makes me cry every time. 1. When my baby yorkie died and suffered all night but 2. When I exposed my moms affair. My dad was out to sea and he called and I asked if it were daddy 1 or 2. When he got back from the tour, I heard them talking and I walked down the stairs and saw my dad crying. Now- I don’t condone cheating but I was mad at my mother until my late 20s but as I had life experiences, I realized how horrid my dad was to her. We came as refugees & he helped us escape our slave village & loved us like we were his. But he never took my mom out, gave her $5 a week, snapped at her for everything & even when he came home- there was the aura that we had to walk on eggshells. She shouldn’t have cheated bc her next one was even worse. People, love urself before hopping from one to the next and mothers- protect ur kids. I stayed single for 11 years bc I knew that I had real love that I needed to protect and my daughter needed a strong mother.
