Maynard is undeniably the best rock/metal vocalist ever. I don't care what anybody says, if you can sound exactly how you do on record when singing live you are incredible

Tool and APC, some of the most complex music ive ever listened too. My mom is a voice coach/piano teacher and she hates heavier music. Yet she considers Tool/APC some of the best arrangements she has ever listen too.

Good ol' auto tune with slow attack and release. I love Maynard though...huuuuuuuuuuuuuge fuckin fan right here...not that I've ever heard him use it besides this. If you are a producer, that uses this plugin you will know what I'm sayin, 😉amazing song⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡🍄
You and your mom sound like my kind of people. Your mom's attitude towards apc/tool is essentially mine. I don't like anything else as hard & loud as these bands; I listen to classic/alt rock, r&b, pop, choice hip-hop...bit of everything besides country & heavy metal...but tool/apc completely transcend the fact that they utilize very hard sounds. Ya know, maybe I actually like hard music but I just don't like what other bands do with it?
