Shout out to Ira Khan for being extremely patient and someone who hears the other person without interrupting at all!
Mallika Dua, what an absolutely refreshing take on all things self-love. Sending hugs for the honesty you brought to this talk
Very nicely articulated conversation. Takes a lot to discuss one’s vulnerabilities. Had a thought though, both the ladies come from a place of comfortable economic backgrounds where they’re taken care of if on days they can’t get up and operate as required. They can take a break, if needed, and spring back when they feel better. In a regular world, where we fend for our needs to meet the basics , this struggle gets into a different dimension. Even if you feel like you can’t move a muscle, one has to get up and put in a full days of productive work to sustain, like a hamster on the wheel. So the window to take care of one’s own self gets tighter and an even tougher path to navigate. Just a thought. Not dissing anyone’s journey, just sharing another perspective.
Agreed
I cannot explain HOW MUCH i needed this interview rn i met you at a flight and yesterday i experienced a big road block with my therapist and i realised how much i needed this.@Malika you have nO idea how much i needed this so much
Mallika, thank you for sharing this. I have followed your beautiful mum through her and your reels, and I was shaken by your parents' passing. I've been accompanying you in your grief journey, sending healing vibes in solidarity since 2021. This podcast gave me deeper insight into your real journey, and your words about grief-like "when you love something, there is no getting over it", "your core has been altered forever", "if you didn't know them, you don't know me," and "Dard hona chahiye, love tax paid," - resonated deeply with me. Thank you for sharing.
And Ira, thank you for such a calm and thoughtful podcast. Many hosts today don’t allow their guests to speak freely, but you were gentle and asked relevant questions that shaped this podcast beautifully.
These are mind boggling and inspirational levels of self knowledge, openness to vulnerability, will to acknowledge and fix unresolved issues @Mallika Dua. I am a fan from today.
What a powerful episode. Very impressed with the courage of both young ladies. Keep it up
I resonate with Malika our bodies tell us and we like to deny it
When school is the modern school....me too...anyways always so proud of mallika dua
This interview itself is a therapy for many ❤
Wonderful episode. Thanks to Ira and Mallika.
Thank you so much for this honest interview, Ira and Mallika. I have been an A-grade fan of Mallika Dua since day 1. So much love, power, and respect to the both of you!
I just cant stop crying. Thank you
Quite deeeeeep this is, Thank you:) Alos, Ira - you are a good listener.
Thank you so much for this episode.
OMG LOVING THIS CROSSOVER ❤
Ira Khan, who seems like she is always seeking attention on social media, really is such a contrast here. She seems like a really good listener, not afraid to ask when she doesn’t know something( delulu) and seems like an empathic person. Mallika dua seems like a funny, snarky, angry toxic lady on SM but is probably a hurt child like all of us. What a difference a safe space can make. I will watch this space for more
very impressed with the way you conduct in ( new word na made my day). also to learn that in this day and age you write letters mad me fell all is not lost in this word ( dont want to load i mean it in a great we sill have the old world active). a very big best of luck for you pod cast

Love, self love and self talks is important.🙏🏼
Loved the episode. More power to you guys ❤
Real good conversation ❤ gave many pointers to think about
I go through that freeze moment before exams as well. It's so focking shitty. Like my brain and my body just refuse to coordinate or function and sit in one place. Despite all the schedule planning and amazing notes that I make, when it comes down to learning, I just freeze.
very interesting way to deal with issues relating to mental health.
This is amazinh
❤
similar trigger points 😢
❤❤
Loved it 😍

Resources in the description!
The "inertia and anxiety" and "self-expectations ", thinking of putting put a video but not actually being able to do it, for me toh even if i shoot still im unable to edit and sm videos i shoot n edit n still dnt post !🙁
made me not mad me sorry for the typo
She looks so much like Madhuri ira I mean
I feel annoyed every evening and feel I have that void. Everything is perfect in my life but still I suppress my mood and irritation ok every small thing. My husband find it very strange feeling irritated/annoyed without any specific reason. On every irritating sound like chewing, high tone of someone, insta reels high volume in someone phone. Someone is playing with tiktok 🖊️ pens. I feel trouble in sleeping quickly. I don't know why I am facing this void.
Same here!

A bit tired of this self love charade. Not a comment on Mallika but the loudest self-love advocates are narcissists who only love themselves. They expect love and sacrifice from others when they are not ready to offer any.
