I will be visiting on June mid this year and sad that June-August is a season for rain ! :(
Hopefully i got a blue clear skies !

We got quite stormy June season that year. It depends on the year. But overall in summer you can get more storms with lighting and thunder than other seasons in the mountains but it doesn't mean everyday and lots of rain.

In truth the Dolomites extend into 3 Italian regions. Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli! (not just south tyrol)

Yeah, we have learnt it after our trip there, it is a pretty big region.

The area is very well trodden and is very popular so you are unlikely to get lost. Have your navigation at hand and you should be fine. Enjoy your hiking trip!😉
