Left Eye is SO UNDERRATED! Very ahead of her time & definitely one of the GREATEST Female Rappers to ever walk! In my opinion, she’s TOP 5 when it comes down to image, lyrics, metaphors, charisma & creativity! Literally one of my favorite Female Rappers of ALL TIME! There’s never been a Female MC as versatile & multitalented as she was & still hasn’t been another like her! I can see her influence amongst a lot of Female Rappers today such as Nicki, Doja, Cardi & etc… I can only imagine what the game would’ve been like if she was still amongst us. Also her Birthday is next week Thursday on the 27th, she would’ve been 50 years old. Just gone to soon! 😭💔

N G I see you’re one of THOSE Tlc fans that buy into the whole “she was our sister” bs. They were obliged to do that 4th album, that’s how contacts work sweetheart. Go learn something. Secondly, Chili wanted Left Eye out of the group after the House fire controversy just to turn around and complain about her “lack of commitment” when she was pursuing solo endeavors despite the fact that Left Eye was still pulling the same weight she always did (more than Chili ever did) as the creative backbone to the group. Obviously she was jealous. Band members take each other for granted all the time, maybe you educate yourself on the situation before you speak BOO.

When it came to TLC, Lisa was one of the most loved members but in terms of solo work that she did in her last days, she was one of the most underrated artists and she deserved more credit. She was funny, caring, bold, creative, multitalented, intelligent, wise, open-minded, aware and always stayed true to herself. One of my favorite things about her was how ahead of her time she was. She predicted the future of music, always knew about how the media will write stories to turn the public against celebs, she talked about the law of attraction, energy, manifestations, healthy diets, astrology and numerology. Of course, her beauty will also never be forgotten as she had big doe like eyes, her personality was just so raw and dope, and she was never afraid to speak her mind. It's always the greatest celebrities who are always misunderstood, ahead of their time and spoke their minds who get killed or die at the end. Where are artists like her these days?

TLC should put out another album, of original songs - but also cover songs, covering some of the songs that were initially offered to them but they let go, ie 702s Where My Girls At, Heartbreak Hotel, Hit Me Baby One More Time, but also cover some of the songs Left Eye featured on like Donell Jones You Know What's Up, Melanie Cs Never Be The Same Again and leave Left Eyes featured Raps on them, aswell as lifting raps from Blaques I Do, Nsyncs song with Left Eye and splicing them into some new TLC songs ----- Also why isnt Left Eyes solo album Supernova album on spotify or apple - such a shame her legacy isnt visible with this remaining off digital platforms.

It's pretty funny that you have artists that are so unique and so creative they get killed off so quickly left eye Lucy is the most iconic rapper out there you got female rappers except for Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott that only raps about pussy 24/7 but you got this Legend right here that is so iconic is she wraps about so many aspects that is female rappers don't even talk about and when I see Doja cat I see left eye Lucy and her I don't know what to say because they have similarities but I really love my fire Lucy's style taste and creativity I wish more female rappers were like left eye

Left Eye doesn’t get her props for her contributions as a female rapper. Her being apart of a group should not negate this fact, ESPECIALLY when she was the artistic backbone of the group. If anything her being a pop culture figure helped push female rap to the forefront. No female rapper is seeing her when it comes to intellectualism, none of them have the range.

Imagine what Left Eye could've created if she was still alive. She was behind many ideas behind the global stardom of TLC. She named the albums, came up with Fanmail concept, created the Fanmail Tour (Which is still the highest grossing selling tour for a female group in global history to this date 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿). Without LeftEye, TLC would not have become the greatest female group of all time. Between 95-2002, TLC was the #1 selling female group of all time around the world. But her death unfortunately messed up the stardom of the group. They were no longer huge like they were in the 90s. I feel like the 2013 VH1 documentary was gate to helping my current generation to understanding the unprecedented success and stardom of TLC. Without this movie, I feel like my generation wouldn't know much of TLC and the group would've been left in the 2002 era after LeftEye's death.

9:50 ... wasn't the lead singer of Blaque killed after being struck by a car when she ran into traffic? The death around Lefteye was something. I think one friend's baby got rolled over by a car that didn't have the break on. Lisa's father was murdered the day she signed her recording deal. A young boy (named EL Lopez!) was killed when he was run over by a member of Lisa's entourage in Honduras....
