Surprised at the Michter’s BP rye. I really liked both mine and a friend’s. The Jack 10 I don’t care for but love the 12 year. Bottle of year that you have had/shown is going to be the RR15 I bet.
Good honest video! Thank you! Both EC and Larceny A124 were disappointing (still good, just not great). Of the two, I give the slight edge to the Larceny A124. Both had an earthy tone that I would only expect and appreciate from a BP Rye but not from a Bourbon. In addition, both A124 releases had a woody note that to me was like chewing on a No. 2 pencil in grade school - not good.
Nice video! I like the JD 10yr but I prefer the 12yr. Agree on the ECBP A124 very strange and a little sour, B524 & C924 are really nice. Larceny BP A124 was decent B524 a lot better and C924 is great! I really enjoy my Michters BS Rye a lot! My best bourbons so far not in order are Smoke Eye Hill CS, Michters 10yr bourbon, Russell’s 15yr, JD Coy Hill, Booker’s Reserves, Little Book Infinite, Larceny C924, Bardstown Discovery 12, Little Book chapter 8, and Bombergers 2024! Cheers!
That Larceny B524 was a good bottle. I haven't tried the other 2 release yet. We had a local bottle share and it came in 2nd, barely lost to JD SBBS Rye
youth at almost 11 years lol..come on now. I think the 12 years spoiled us and the c923 about broke the mold but thats a lil harsh. 70ish bux for a high proof dang near 11 year bottle is still solid

The EC C924 is soooo good. I currently have 2 bottles

The coolest thing about this list is how far we have come in the bourbon community. Our bourbon is becoming sooooo goood!

#EDD10K Ironclad is a nice little distillery, and now that they are using full-size barrels, they will continue to get better.
