    Great show thank you. We haven’t been to Malacca for a few years but it appears to be alive and exciting. Our relatives are all coming to Singapore from Perth,Canberra and Melbourne in Dec for a special birthday celebration . We may revisit Malacca having seen your show.
    Cheers

      Wow that sounds like quite the family celebration! Whatever you get to I hope you have a great time. Do consider air b’n’b’s in the area for places to stay - it kept our short but sweet trip on a good budget (to then spend trying all the food haha) we have a couple more Malacca vlogs coming next week. Can share with your family to get them in the mood.

    You guys made Jonker Street night market look so exciting. Thank you for sharing. The last time I was there over 10 years ago, my daughter’s bag was cut and her wallet was stolen without her realising it till she needed to pay for something. Thank God you guys were safe!

      Aww so sorry to hear about that. Not a nice experience. We really did enjoy the market as I’m sure you could see 😆 keep your eyes out for a couple more of our trip next week!

    Looks like a great visit to Jonker Strt in Melacka, great food and great people 😊 Me and my daughter just came home from a couple of great weeks in Kl, Borneo and S-pore. To bad that the Merlion were under reconstruction. Regards from Sweden

    Melaka (or Malacca, as most of us know it!) is a fabulous getaway. Glad you did this video. I’ve missed Jonker Street. I see you guys ate your way through the street, 😂. Should try the chendol there, it’s done slightly differently from the ones you get in Singapore, at least the one I tried at Jonker some years back. It’s drier, with more ice and not so much coconut milk but the gula melaka comes through more. Aspen’s expressions after tasting kopi luwak and after the trishaw ride were priceless!!!

      Yes, for sure - we’d recommend everywhere in our Melaka series of videos… Jonker street at night, the baba Nyonya museum, walking up to the church on this hill too 😊

    Jonty, hope you caught the RWC finals last night. Springboks beat All blacks by a whisker. Hope you celebrate too. I love kiwis but I know South Africans are really good. Btw I played fir st Andrews secondary in the heydays when the Saints were a stronghold school team as ACS and RI kept knocking 🏆

    There has been and will always be an argument on which country (Singapore or Malaysia) has the better food, both in terms of quality and variety.
    Also, seems like you guys are becoming more Singaporean with the way you react to the sights and smell of FOOD. 😁

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a topic that comes up often in our home as we’d all love one but unfortunately the cost here is just too high for us. We do look after a little dog every so often when their owners travel though! She’ll be with us this Christmas and we can’t wait! 🐶 Milo currently has two terrapins and Aspen has a hamster.

    ❤well actually I see many expats do adopt a non pedigree dog instead of buying one which I agree is totally unaffordable. Yea so unstandardized but owning small pets like those truly is no brainer. I myself own an aquarium downsized. I used to think a dog lives only a decade and it's emotional after that.

    • @WONDERLUSTworld
      @WONDERLUSTworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, we have looked into it but it’s a big commitment and we aren’t quite ready for that at the moment. So we’ll just do dog sitting for our friends at the moment.
