Ah-HA! I knew the other tutorial I watched must have left a bit out, because mine turned out all wonky where it crossed the last seam. Off-set it by 1/4"....that makes sense. Thanks!!

A lot of people don’t really show you about that quarter inch intersection and it is extremely important
It is easier to just go ahead and draw a quarter inch line from each edge and or mark a quarter inch on each line but of course I think it’s faster just to draw a quarter inch all the way along the width

Confusing on the second stitch line. Tthe fabric could be folded neatly in two on the flat. 7:52

For the beginning, does it need to be a perfect circle, would you say?

    • @dcwatashi

What do you mean about a perfect circle? I’ve made plenty of these. Maybe I can help you

Does NOT have to start with a square! Just do the 45 degree angle, draw the lines and THEN match & stitch into a tube.

I’ve watched quite a few of these videos from fairly professional people, and everybody says it must be a square
And you know that saying if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, so I’ll just keep doing my squares or maybe I can play around with a piece of fabric that I don’t really like

@@dcwatashi Dude! Use WOF to get extra yardage and math/procedure is still the SAME! Not broke!

@@ravsma well I said I was going to try on some fabric I dont like. Am I am not a dude

@@dcwatashi Dude! is the short form. I hope you DO try the WOF or whatever rectangle you can experiment on. It doesn't have to start with a square, as you will see!

@@ravsma yes I definitely will try this out because I don’t always have a square of fabric.
