    Nailed it! I’ve had to fire a bad client and was so thankful I had a contract in place. One thing I’ve added is a communication clause specifically for clients who drag their feet or completely disappear off the radar. It gives me authority to cancel a project and keep my retainer if lack of communication goes beyond 30 days.
    Thanks for the tips on how to weed out clients you don’t want to work with, as well. Deferring you minimus is a good way to weed out lots of the inquiries I get without saying, “we’re not a good fit.”

    No usually the budget clients want first class work that usually requires your entire team, a large project that requires lots of time, thought and expertise but they don't have the budget for what they want.

    I wish I watched this earlier before onboarded my ex clients. Thankfully, this video is a big help for prospecting and onboarding new clients.
