Thanks a lot for the video, Mr. Houraghan. Extracting that level of information without doing any interviews is difficult for me -- I don't know where to find that amount of information or how to at the moment. And if I were to do interviews, doing enough to have covered a significant market portion is difficult as well.
Start with what you know... Build a hypothetical person and replace assumptions with fact through guerilla research... use software like Sparktoro to help... this interview with Rand Fishkin will help - th-cam.com/video/SUNLVR7-C-w/w-d-xo.html
Great content, Steven! Thank you! Could you please create some videos that outline the step-by-step process for finding this information? If I didn't have the budget to pay for it and needed to search social media profiles instead, could you demonstrate how you would approach that in a video? Additionally, if you were conducting competitor research on their target audience, wouldn't it be feasible to use the same target audience since your competitors have already done that research, ultimately saving you time?
I get where you're coming from about needing step-by-step guides, and that’s something I’ll consider for future videos. If you want to explore on a budget, checking out competitors' social media can offer quick insights into their audience engagement and content that resonates. As for targeting the same audience, it’s doable, but the key is finding a unique angle that sets your brand apart. Have you thought about ways to differentiate?
Thanksss a lot! God bless you🌺 According to me, the seventh step must be using a tool. For example, I'm using WASK for determining the right target audience. It has a good target audience feature. You can locate potential clients through a variety of methods. The savvy audience option, in particular, performs admirably. It automatically locates your intended audience.
You can find it in behind their objectives and goals (there fears and desires are lurking here)... what do they want to achieve, why and what are the consequences of not achieving it
Hi, thanks a lot. I am working on branding a food items export business for a company, but it is quite a challenge for me to build a customer avatar for this niche. Can you guide me to succeed on his quest?
Great video steve thank you so much for your content! And small doubt in Reveal their emotion that is what to do with the emotions in terms of identify the audience
When you know what emotions they're going through you can appeal to them... for example if their desire is to feel a sense of freedom... you paint the picture of what that freedom looks like using emotional language
Can you explain HOW you could possibly know where a peerson eats, what sports they do, what is their life's goal. I understand how this could be done on a single, uniques person, but a market segmnt??? Almost every eBook, cheat sheet, whitepaper etc says the same thing. Most of us know these statements, but I have always (and still do) struggle with 'How on earth do I find out these things.
There are a few ways… Use software and tools such as Sparktoro and Survey Monkey to interview segments of the market… Or do guerilla research on groups, social profiles and forums (This can be heavy lifting) Either way, you pay with time or you pay with money… But no one hands you this information - you have to go looking
I am struggling at that, identify my target audience. I started my YT channel to stay connected with my friends and family, and help them understand my Navy Lifestyle ever since I decided to extend that out to everyone and now it’s a pain to identify who I want to reach. It sounds so simple though😒
This is really all the what, not really how. How do you actually find this information? How do you know that person is your target market. How do you actually research this? Tools? How do you know the person you are researching is the person that will actually be your target market
This depends on your budget. If you have money to spend you can send out surveys to sample sizes of your market or use software such as Spartoro... if not, you have to be more resourcesful such as piecing together the information using readily available information online (Eg social profiles of your competitors followers can offer a lot of insights)

Question - how would you go about revealing their emotions?
You can find it in behind their objectives and goals (there fears and desires are lurking here)... what do they want to achieve, why and what are the consequences of not achieving it
Great content full of value. Im looking for the best way to calculate my market size once I find my target.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for sharing
You are so welcome
Hi, thanks a lot.
I am working on branding a food items export business for a company, but it is quite a challenge for me to build a customer avatar for this niche.
Can you guide me to succeed on his quest?
What exactly is your biggest challenge?
Great vid! How is the target audience different from the buyer persona?
The buyer persona is a fictional representation of the audience... it brings them to live as a real porson
Can you give an example to understand the difference between GOAL and OBSTACLE in reaching the GOAL v/s CHALLANGE
Obstacle is just another word for Challenge.
Obstacles/Challenges are what needs to be overcome in order to reach the goal and succeed
Great video steve thank you so much for your content!
And small doubt in Reveal their emotion that is what to do with the emotions in terms of identify the audience
Most welcome... could you ask the question again in a different way... not sure I understand
@@BrandMasterAcademy I mean what to do next with revealing their emotions. In the sense, how to move with their emotions further....
When you know what emotions they're going through you can appeal to them... for example if their desire is to feel a sense of freedom... you paint the picture of what that freedom looks like using emotional language
Amazing content Steve 😊
Much appreciated 🙏
How am I collecting this data and information? Am I running questionnaires? Or am I filling it in from my own perceptions? Thanks
Start with what you know and believe to be true, then confirm as best you can with research including questionaires, surveys and guerilla tactics

Usually, you have some kind of value to offer that people want…
What is the value and who needs or wants it?
All
Great video man. But i think you should have light bro you re in complete dark.
