Lainey, Lainey, oh my dear sweet, Lainey Girl, you truly just NAILED it, and I'm sure that both Mick & Keith would absolutely approve and love it as I do !!! From a lifelong Stones fan, I just can't get enough of it 💯🎯😎👍❤️😘
I truly honestly see her as a young Melissa Etheridge when Melissa first began back in the late 80s, her debut album especially. Like Melissa did, Lainey is taking music to a whole other level, and like Melissa, she has that determination, artistic talent in her compositions. Lainey is a rarity in Nashville as she does it her own way, as why I started listening to current country, I owe it all to her. Dwight Yoakam was the last artist in Country that caught my attention, he did it his own way as well, that equals TALENT in my book.
Uhm, it's different, better than, no, as the original can't be ever topped, being this recorded recently, the technology different, yes, better quality. But, it would be like someone saying, Alicia Keys does Watermelon Moonshine by Lainey better than the original....wait, wouldn't that be somethin' Alicia Keys covering a Lainey composition? haha
Completely pointless literal cover. The Stones prevented Trump from using their song, but maybe they could play this ersatz clone version instead to skirt the law.
Hey, I'm learning English and I'm not a native speaker. In class, we learned that the past participle of SING is SUNG. So when we use HAS/HAVE + PAST PARTCIPLE form of "sing", it must be "sung". Is that right? Even if using "sung" is the grammatically correct choice, does saying has/have sang is the more naturally sounding choice? I know there are many English dialects out there in the U.S., and sometimes some of them don't sound like the "standard English" taught in class, but just because it's not standard, that doesn't make it wrong.
